Lilutinus

I couldn’t see for a moment, my vision was black but then a center of light brought me back. I heard the bellows of behemoths and the chirps of the sweet birds. Waking up, I see an amber and dusk sky, filled with clouds that brush in through the skies and warp like a painting. I felt my body touching something, it felt itchy and moist.

Turning around my neck, I see tall meadows of grass that seemed to be taller than I. For I was a young blond, petite girl that has been searching for the forest of Lilutinus. The stories I heard, hearing of the pure of snow white crooked trees, the leaves sparkling forth its tranquil moss that made the air as though snow were falling. Grounds that were layered with a variety of green yet none of decay or wither and majestic creatures of being like the edliver white stag or twig gnomes.

I wonder where I was, I’m probably thinking too hard to the point I think my dirty hair was almost in my mouth. I try to push myself, both with these hands that have been delicate and coarse. Touching the thick yet thin grass, feeling of its wetness and moistness. Piling on my hands seemed to be the grass’s sap, like it was a trap. Though it seemed harmless, even as I stood. I couldn’t see but feel the clarity of the soft wind that brushes my hair away.

I walked further and had to distance myself from the tall grass with my hand, waving in motion through left to right. Continuing on forth and then feeling the earth that was soft but not of mud. Continuing forth, the number of them began to thin out from each step, each swing, and each of my breath would grow heavy.

Once on the final path, I see an eclipse of light that flashes in my eyes. Turning away and shutting them down to advert more gaze. Then I slowly turned back in front and slowly peeked, I opened my mouth in awe and expression. I watch and see these things, from where I was, I saw a herd of behemoths. Tall they were as large and tall than any mountain I see, they touched the skies and amber clouds with their massive height. Their hide was rough and brittled, though I mean by texture as if it was an eldean oak wood. Legs so tall that they were slender and heads so gentle yet tremendous in size as their horns made them even more fierce. Showing their teeth and a bit crooked and tall as even the biggest skyscrapers.

I saw a variety of creatures like ayanur jackalopes, turncoat hippogriffs, coytail manticores, and several dryads that giggled near a clear and tranquil pond, surrounded by birschten willows.

The land was even more beautiful, a vastness of just green covered it, mountains that were grand and hailed its purity of white with its caps. But I saw the dragon of crimson white, Azathan, cover one of the mountains with their large wings and yet their body was half the size of it that I could see from here.

But then, I heard a call, it sounded more of an elk that called and I turned what was near me. It jumped gracefully that by the ground it seemed like the space echoed a ring of water. Yet I bent my gaze and was flashed with a green light. I opened them and I saw what I didn’t know what it was. It looked like a white stag, but it’s head was like a barn owl yet deer like, antlers that were so grand, they spiraled with flow circling spheres that seemed to be of galaxies of realms, body of like a deer yet it was feather like, legs of thinness that they seemed like stilts. I was awed but I couldn’t help but feel the beating in my heart. It braced me and yet it spoke, “You seem lost young miss, where are you from?” I gathered my thoughts and spoke, “I-I-I- was looking for the mythical forest of Lilutinus…” It turned and lowered itself and said, “I will allow you to come. It seems you have traveled for months of loss and you don’t seem to be of the rot that has come. Come now for your wish is coming”

I hesitated but then I took the chance, I laid on it feeling it’s soft and yet surprisingly thick fur or feathers? It jumped and each step made us fly higher as each step made space rung. It grows faster and then I almost falled off, it caught me with what seemed to be extra hands from within itself. And I saw a ray of colors of light and a bridge of transparent cosmic was beneath it.

Though I held on, I couldn’t help but feel whimsical and as we stopped… I was in Lilutinus. The forest of crossroads and the forest of the eternal world spiral tree. Smelling the air and it was like the ivory of a willow granbell, glowing brightly inside me with majestic and tranquility.
