Chapter 1 - The God Who Finally Found Peace
For the first time in what felt like an eternity, Zeekith was doing nothing.
No war.
No enemies.
No gods hunting him.
No worlds collapsing.
No portals tearing open in the sky.
Nothing.
He simply sat outside his stone house overlooking the valley beneath him.
His planet stretched endlessly into the distance.
Mountains surrounded the valley, their peaks disappearing into the clouds. Rivers cut through the landscape below, reflecting the light of the enormous stars above.
And beyond the atmosphere…
his galaxy.
The galaxy Zeekith had created himself.
Thousands of stars.
Countless worlds.
An entire corner of existence that belonged to him.
Zeekith leaned back against the stone wall of his house and smiled.
For once, he wasn’t thinking about what could go wrong.
He wasn’t thinking about Vorthak.
He wasn’t thinking about death.
He wasn’t thinking about becoming stronger.
He had finally become what he had spent his entire life fighting toward.
A god.
And for several years…
everything was perfect.
But somewhere beyond his galaxy, something had begun to awaken.
Three beings stood within an ancient realm that existed outside normal time.
Gyro.
Thea.
T.
They had existed before civilizations.
Before recorded history.
Before most of the universe’s known gods.
And all three suddenly felt it.
A disturbance.
A ripple through reality.
Something that shouldn’t have been there.
Thea slowly opened her eyes.
Gyro turned toward the endless darkness.
T tightened his grip around his weapon.
Then, deep within the center of their universe, the Universe Crystal began to glow.
Every galaxy connected to it.
Every star.
Every planet.
Every living thing.
The crystal held the structure of their entire universe together.
And something had touched it.
Something that didn’t belong.
Gyro finally spoke.
“He’s here.”
Thea looked toward the distant galaxy.
“The outsider.”
T nodded.
“Then we go to him.”
And three ancient gods disappeared.
⸻
Meanwhile, Zeekith was still sitting outside his house.
Completely unaware.
He looked toward the stars.
A small smile crossed his face.
He whispered:
“Nothing can ruin this.”
Then the sky went dark.
Zeekith slowly looked upward.
Three figures were descending from the heavens.
And for the first time since becoming a god…
Zeekith felt something he hadn’t felt in years.
Danger.
