Chittor Railway Station
This story was originally written by me in Hindi and was later translated into English by me. The English version preserves the original story, characters, plot, and theme.
Chittor Railway Station is the fifth historic railway station of India. This station has now been closed by the Government of India. This incident took place before the station was closed.
Raj made a plan to travel to Bangalore with his friend through Chittor Railway Station. He reached Chittor Railway Station and called his friend Rahul on his mobile phone. After five or six minutes, Rahul arrived at the station. Then both of them boarded the train.
After some time, Raj noticed that the train was moving, but it was not stopping at any station. He woke Rahul up and told him everything. Then both of them decided to find the Travelling Ticket Examiner (TTE). They searched everywhere on the train, but the entire train was empty.
There were only the two of them on the whole train. Rahul and Raj tried to make mobile phone calls, but there was no network. Both of them became worried. A few hours passed, and it was almost night.
A message arrived on Raj’s mobile phone from Rahul. The message said, “Raj, I will not be able to come to Bangalore with you. My father has some work outside the house.”
Raj was completely frightened because Rahul was sitting beside him. Then who had sent him the message? Raj looked at the place where Rahul had been sitting, but nobody was there anymore.
Now Raj was alone on the entire train. His mobile phone’s battery was also about to run out. It was night, and the whole train was silent. Raj was waiting for someone to come and help him.
Suddenly, he remembered that his mother had given him a power bank. He took the power bank out of his bag and charged his mobile phone. Then he called his father and told him everything. While he was talking to his father on the phone, suddenly he heard a strange sound, and his call was disconnected. He tried calling again, but his mobile phone was not working.
He was completely terrified. The entire train had become deserted. Time passed, and it was now six o’clock in the morning. Raj’s father arrived at Chittor Railway Station with the police.
When Raj’s father looked inside the train, Raj was nowhere to be found. They searched the entire station, but Raj could not be found anywhere.
After Raj’s disappearance, many strange incidents occurred at Chittor Railway Station. In 1989, the railway authorities decided to close Chittor Railway Station. It is said that the station’s past is mysterious and that people disappear in mysterious ways.
