How does it feel to be the youngest child of the family?
You have that perfect family everyone dreams of.
You have an elder siblings that excelled in everything.
Or maybe everyone from the family excelled at everything.
Some are board passer...
Some may be are successful on their dream businesses, their dream careers.
Some maybe had a child they've dream of.
Or maybe wealth.
You watch them from afar,
You can see how their eyes smile, and how loud they laugh at anyone's jokes.
You watch them from afar,
You can see how much financial stability they can offer to your parents.
The crisp paper bills they are counting.
The ink of the pen slowly painting the checks for any amount they can give to your parents which you once promised to do.
You watch them from afar,
Carrying the weight of the child, the warm laugh of a toddler. The warmth of their eyes while looking at the child.
And there you are
Just watching from afar.
Carrying the promise you once made.
I will be successful...
I can give back the sacrifices you have given..
But then..
All you have is your eyes,
Watching from afar.
Filled with the happiness and the success you once dreamed of.
