Opps !! Not you again
After the campus tour ended, our group slowly started going toward our classrooms.
“Finally,” my friend sighed. “My legs are hurting.”
“You’re the one who wanted to explore the campus,” I laughed.
We entered our classroom and took seats near the window. Students were still chatting loudly while waiting for the professor.
Just when things started to calm down, the classroom door opened.
A senior walked in.
And of course… it was Rudransh Malhotra.
I frowned immediately. “Why is he here?”
My friend whispered, “Maybe he’s here to give some instructions or something.”
Rudransh leaned casually against the teacher’s desk and looked around the class.
“Relax everyone,” he said. “I’m not here to scare you. I’m just here to explain a few college rules.”
Some students nodded nervously.
Then his eyes landed on me again.
“Rule number one,” he said calmly. “Always watch where you’re going.”
A few students laughed softly.
I knew that was clearly directed at me.
I rolled my eyes and muttered, “Very funny.”
Rudransh raised an eyebrow. “Something you want to say, Ms…?”
“Amaya,” I replied confidently.
“Right,” he said with a small smile. “Amaya.”
He looked at the class again.
“Anyway, if you ever have problems in college, you can contact the student union.”
Then he picked up a piece of chalk and wrote his name on the board.
Rudransh Malhotra – Student Union
Before leaving, he looked at me one more time.
“Try not to spill anyone’s coffee today,” I said under my breath.
A few students near me started laughing quietly.
Rudransh paused at the door and turned slightly.
“Don’t worry,” he said with a small smirk.
“I’ll try to stay out of your way… Amaya.”
Then he left the classroom.
My friend grabbed my arm immediately.
“Amaya! You literally just roasted a senior on your first day!”
I shrugged.
“What can I say?” I smiled.
“He started it.”
But deep inside, I had a feeling this argument with Rudransh Malhotra was far from over.

After two boring lectures, finally the bell rang for lunch break.
“Finally!” my friend said while stretching. “I’m starving.”
“Same,” I laughed. “Let’s go to the canteen.”
The college canteen was crowded with students talking, laughing, and eating.
My friends and I managed to find a table near the corner.
I went to the counter and bought sandwiches and cold coffee for everyone.
As I was coming back to the table, I suddenly heard a familiar voice behind me.
“Well… looks like someone survived the morning without bumping into anyone.”
I froze for a second.
I slowly turned around.
Rudransh Malhotra.
I sighed. “Do you always appear out of nowhere like this?”
He shrugged casually. “Maybe you just keep running into me.”
“Trust me,” I said, “I’m trying my best not to.”
He chuckled a little.
My friends at the table were staring at us with wide eyes.
One of them whispered, “Amaya… just come here.”
But before I could move, someone accidentally pushed Rudransh from behind.
His elbow hit my tray.
And the cold coffee spilled again.
Right on his shirt this time.
For a moment, both of us just stared at each other.
Then my friends burst out laughing.
I tried to control my smile.
“Well,” I said innocently, “looks like someone spilled coffee today.”
Rudransh looked down at his shirt and then back at me.
Instead of getting angry, he laughed softly.
“Looks like we’re even now,” he said.
I raised an eyebrow.
“Maybe.”
He took a napkin from the counter and started cleaning his shirt.
Before leaving, he looked at me again.
“Careful, Amaya,” he said with a small smile.
“If this keeps happening, people will start thinking we’re doing this on purpose.”
Then he walked away.
I sat down at the table.
My friends immediately leaned closer.
“Amaya,” one of them whispered dramatically.
“What?”
“I think Rudransh Malhotra is going to become the main character of your college life.”
I groaned.
“Please don’t say that.”
But somehow… I had a feeling she might be right.
