A glance of him and her heartbeats were forever his.

She stared outside of her window. Looking at the new boy who moved here.
He was probably the most beautiful boy she ever laid eyes on.
But he had pain written all over his face. That is what she found beautiful in him. The pain is what she found beautiful.
It’s a type of art to recognize pain. But she was use to this type of art.
She lived through this art for eleven years.
Eleven years off pain. That’s why she could easily recognize it on his face.
She kept looking as he stood there, starting into space.
Then their eyes met. Even from this distance she felt weird tingles up her arms.
He stared at her, waving his hand. She waved back
He smiled at her. But she could tell it was fake.
He wore a fake smile.
Just like she did everyday of her life.
Wearing a fake smile to please ourselves and others.
Fooling them that we are FINE.
