Chapter 1

Note : This story was co-written by one of my friends and credit to some chapters go to her

You think your life is hard? Think again. You probably have a roof above your head and food everyday. Me? Well….. I live on the streets. And at the same time, I feel bad for you. You will never be as free as I am, to be in complete control of your life. You’ll never understand what the hardship is and the purest emotions. But most of all, you will never know the person you are deep inside, you’ll never find your true self.

And I knew who I was, I understand what it meant to be free. Like right now. I was racing across rooftops, finding my next target to steal from.

“Perfect!” I thought as a wizened old man walked towards me.

I jumped to the streets to an alley near where the old man would pass by. As I passed by the man, I stuck my finger into the pocket of his robes, trying to snatch money, or something valuable. As my hand slipped out, a crystalline bottle slipped out and smashed on the cobblestone street.

The old man turned and face me and said “Little raven, I wish you well for you have gotten hold of the most dangerous thing in the world” and he crumpled to the ground.
