Did you miss me?

Do you ever have that feeling when you know something is going to happen and change everything forever?

I can feel it in the pits of my stomach. Some thing is going to happen, and I don't think that I can do anything to stop it. I always trust in that feeling.

My name is Aria Winters. That is all there really is to me. I am nothing special. Not to my mother, not to my father, not to my brother, and most definitely not to myself.

I have a neglectful father who is always away on business, a very protective mother, and my twin brother who was always overprotective of me. Key word being was.

High school has been hell so far. Jayden, my brother, and I started a few months ago and all that I can say is that her became my number one bully.

What a lovely life for sixteen year old me.

Today is Monday, HURRAY!

I got out of bed and did my morning routine. I put on a black baggy t-shirt and blue jeans and black convers. I grabbed my black Ray Bans, which might I add are beautiful and stylish, although I don’t need them anymore. I think that it is evident that I like black.

Black goes with everything...

I grabbed my phone off my desk and rush out of my room to get breakfast my favorite time of day besides lunch and supper. I arrive at the kitchen to find my brother and his girlfriend Amy sucking faces, gross. I almost lost my appetite. Almost; I went to the counter and got an apple.

“Hey Jayden, I’m going to go. You should leave too, that's if you want to be on time.”

Before walking out I heard him say, “Like I care, you can go kill yourself no one will even notice, why do you think mom and dad are gone all the time, you are too much of an embarrassment to be around.”

It hurt to know that your only sibling hates you and wants you dead and I am sure that it could be seen on my face.

I turned to face them only to see Amy laughing so hard that no sound is coming out, tears were coming out of her eyes and she had turned into a ripe tomato with the lack of oxygen, whereas Jayden was just standing with a smirk. I looked into his eyes, there was a flash of regret but it was gone as soon as it came, I just rolled my eyes at Amy’s reaction to what Jayden had said to me.

I am sick of his attitude towards me it has been going on too long and I let him I don’t know what I had done for him to hate me but it has to stop, I am sick of it. I am fuming with so much anger that I turned red. If I was a cartoon I would have steam coming out of my ears, maybe I might be overexaggerating.

“You know what Jayden I’m sick and tired off your attitude. What did I ever do to you Jayden please tell me cause I have no freaking clue, you call me an embarrassment well you are a disappointment to this whole family. As far as I know I don’t have a brother anymore cause my brother actually cares for me!?” tears started streaming down my face, they felt like lava against my skin burning as they fell.

I ran upstairs and locked my door. I can’t believe I did that. I had been keeping it in for so long, never have I ever thought that I would speak to him like that.

I think that it’s time to leave. I started packing my clothes and important belonging’s which wasn’t much .I might have a rich father –who is a workaholic might I add- but he does not buy me many things unlike my spoiled brat of a brother Jayden.

I am the forgotten child in my family. The only people who really pays attention to me in this house is my mom and the maid.

Once I was done packing my things I called my mom.

“Hello?” my mom’s voice rang through the phone after the third ring.

“Ciao mamma, I need to tell you something,” I said very nervous of what she would say.

“What is it hon, you’re not pregnant are you?” she joked but her laughter died down when she heard I was not laughing.

“Oh gosh no! I need to leave town for a while to find myself I called to tell you that so when you are back do not be surprised if you don’t find my here, I do not know when I will be back, I will keep contact with you, ok?” I said not even trying to hide the sadness in my voice.

“It’s okay my baby I do not want you to leave but I want you to be happy, I will put money in your bank account so that you can get things that you need. I want you to be safe ok, I will miss you my baby and so will your dad I know he hardly shows it but he loves just as much as I do,” she says and at the end she burst out into tears.

“I love you mamma, I will miss you forever and always bye,” I say tears welling up in my eyes.

“I love you too honey bye and good luck,” she said. And with that I hung up before I burst out in tears.

I may not love this place but I love my parents. I immediately went online and looked up apartments in Los Angeles, California. I eventually found a penthouse on the beach. It was large it was a two bedroom, two bathroom penthouse. I booked a plane ticket for the earliest flight to LAX.

Bye San Francisco I will miss you dearly, not.
