Discreet love

It was a usual Thursday, or it seemed like it as Sue remembered. She was looking out of the window, it was beautiful the world outside she thought. She loved looking at the sky, it interconnected the lives of many, so many had shed tears under this sky, so many had died under this sky, so many had laughed under this sky and the list went on. She wanted to the world outside of her little bedroom and school. She desired to know much more about this world. Sue went to deep thought about this, and soon she snapped as the teacher reprimanded her saying it was her last warning. She counted the minutes until the last class and after 5 more periods it ended which seemed like forever. Soon she was at home reading the “love and affliction”, her favourite novel. “Sue, would you stop slacking off” her mother yelled when or entering the room “Why don’t u be more like ur brother and study” Sue’s brother was her role model according to her mother. He was a first university student at Harvard university. She had been compared to her since ever since she was born. “But mom.....” Sue trailed off in mid sentence. “But what, I wish I had never had a child like you” the woman said and left the room in anger. Sue wanted to say she tried, and indeed she had tried a lot. Everyday since she was little she was compared to her smart brother. She wanted to be like her brother so she studied all day even giving up her t.v time and sacrificing social life. But her parents never seemed satisfied. Her brother Johnson was better. She didn’t know exactly why her parents had hated her so much but she knew they hated her. She looked at the sky as a tear fell down her cheeks. She heard a loud bang, it was probably her imagination. But then when she looked out of the window, something big had fallen on earth. It resembled a space ship.Omg there are aliens in my house. She freaked out a little but smoothly it was excitement. Something came out of that spaceship and it wasn’t a nasty weird looking creature but the most beautiful creature she had ever seen. It was a guy with bright blue eyes , a devastatingly strong jaw and blond hair. It seemed he approached her and he was coming closer and in the blink of an eye he was inside her room. It was like a dream, a handsome otherworldly guy in her room. “Hey could I stay here for the night” he said in a cold voice. Seeing such a charming person had made Sue hazy, then suddenly she came to back her senses. A stranger had somehow entered her room, she immediately reached out her for her pepper spray and shouted in a nervous voice “who the hell are u and what do you want” the man came closer and they were inches far “I am a sith warrior” she couldn’t believe what she was hearing. When she was little she read stories about sith warriors. They were humans with special powers who got special training and fought to protect the earth. Their identities were kept in secret because of enemies. They had devoted their entire life for protecting mankind and only focused on fighting. They were kept far from their family, loved ones and they lacked feelings. “No way” Sue finally said after a having a moment of remembrance of her childhood story books. “Listen their are enemies wanting to kill me, I messed up and I need shelter for a few days, please I beg you help me” he said with a expression showing deep regret. “Ok so if what you are saying is true, from what I heard sith warriors have special powers so can’t u just teleport and go somewhere where people won’t find you or like he invisible or something” ” well those are myths, I do have powers but not to that extent I can’t teleport but I can move very fast and that’s how I entered ur house through the window, and I can be invisible but only to the human eye and for maximum about half an hour” “you are so lying, but if u want me to let u stay here, show me ur invisibility power” Despite sue’s tough exterior she was very child like and hearing the words special powers made her more excited, now her in mind she was currently jumping with excitement, “hmm okay u baby” he said and suddenly disappeared. Sue couldn’t believe it, he had disappeared in front of her eyes and she felt something whispering in her ear softly “now believe me” in a deep voice. Sue blushed a little “wow you are actually a sith warrior” “indeed now can i rest” he appeared and immediately lied down on the bed “do sith warriors require sleep” ” yaa what do u expect us? we are not aliens we sleep, eat and rest and” he stopped for a moment and continued “feel” he looked at her with an expression of sorrow. She wanted to ask him many things but now wasn’t the time for it. “Also, don’t tell ur parents I am here” he said and went into somber “I wouldn’t anyway” she said and after a moment of looking at this guy lying in her bed she realised she didn’t even know his name. She didn’t actually know him at all. Why did he have a sorrow expression when he talked about feeling? What happened to him? How does he spend his days? She locked her door as her mother could barge in anytime and if she sees a guy in her bed she would definitely strangle her death. She thought about the next day and had no idea of the future ahead of her and went to sleep.

(Author’s note: I am really invested in this story and i want to give my all in it. Please read it and give me recommendations and tips. I am just starting so this might be not my best work but I will definitely give my best. Just enjoy this story. It’s slow paced for now but it will be very fast.
