Chloe (Book 2 Halo series)

Chloe watched as her dad passed out and hit the floor, her uncle’s were cussing and threating to kill Cole. All the while she watched her mother look at all the men rolling her eyes. Halo got out of her chair and walked to her wrapping her arms around her, “it will be fine, baby. Mommy promises I love you.”

Anvil started waking up, “what the fuck happened? Why am I on the floor?” All the women started giggling before Halo spoke up, “you passed out, grandpa. What the hell is wrong with you, Equa Asgaya?” Anvil blushed, “to be honest, I wasn’t ready for that. A Usdiga? Really?” Chloe smiled sadly at her father, “yeah, Edoda. A Usdiga. I hope I haven’t disappointed you. I did not even know until three days ago.”

Anvil walked up to Chloe and wrapped her tightly in his arms, “baby, you could never disappoint me. I love you so much and I will love my grandbaby even more. Like I said, it was just a surprise.” Chloe let the tears fall that she had been holding back, “I love you daddy. I’m going to need all of your help. I have no fucking clue as to what I am going to do.”

Halo cleared her throat, “Firstly, you are going to stop that crying cause everything is going to be fine. Secondly, you’re going to give all your Uncle’s hugs and tell them to shut the fuck up before I start shooting dicks off. Lastly, you are going to tell us what happened and then we will start planning on what we need to do.”

Chloe got up and hugged every pissed off male in the room even including her brothers then sat back down and explained what had happened three days ago. Axe was the first to speak up, “Udatlogiyv, why did it take you three days to tell us?” Chloe took a deep breath, “because I was embarrassed and ashamed. I was scared what dad would say to me, Edutsi.”

Anvil looked at Chloe, “Oh, baby. I’m sorry I made you feel that way. I love you, you can tell me anything. I might get mad but I will always come around at some point. There is no reason to be embarrassed or ashamed. You loved him and it’s all apart of nature to have sex. I might not want to think of my daughter’s having sex but that is a part of being a dad.”All the men shivered in the room, making Chloe and Halo roll their eyes.

Chloe cleared her throat, “I haven’t told you everything.” She turned to look at Magott, “Cole is having an affair with Kara, your niece. They have been fucking since our sophomore year. He said he was scared to break up with me before cause he was scared y’all would kill him.”

Big tears rolled down her cheeks. Magett got up and pulled her into a hug, “I’m sorry Chloe. I’m sorry my blood has done this to you. I’ll understand if you don’t want anything to with me because of this.” Chloe pulled back, “you can’t help what she does. I still love you like an Uncle, Magett. You will always be family to me and I am going to need you.”

Halo walked over to Anvil and sat in his lap, “alright, baby. Here’s what we are going to do. You are moving back home until we can find you a house close to us or we build you one. We will just have to take this day to day. You can stay working at the bakery and we will buy you a vehicle. You can’t be riding your bike now that you are pregnant. My question is, who is going to break the news to Grandma and Grandpa?”

Chloe slumped forward, “well, I guess that would be me since I’m a grown ass woman. Jesus. Dad will you stand close so Grandma won’t crush me to death hugging me. You know I can’t stand to see her cry even if it is happy tears.” They all laughed.

Chloe, Halo, and Anvil walked into James and Sue’s house. “Well, I’ll be damned. There’s my baby, come give Grandpa a hug. I have missed you so fucking much. How are you?” Chloe gave her Grandpa a huge smile. “Hi, Grandpa. I’m good but I have missed you and Grandma.” Sue appeared in the room smiling, “I was hoping you were missing me too.” Sue hugged her eldest granddaughter. “What are y’all out and about doing?”

Chloe looked at her grandparents, “I need to talk to you both. Would you both please sit?” James looked at Sue and then sat with her following. “I just wanted to let you know that Cole and I have split and there will be no getting back together. He has been cheating on me since sophomore year and I just found from him three days ago.”

Before she could finish Sue jumped up, “Halo, get your shotgun and let’s go blow this little fucker’s dick off. You are the best shot for that.” Halo grunted, “fucking, really? Will I ever live that down?” Everyone laughed except Halo and Sue.

"Grandma, calm down. I’m not finished.” Sue sat back down. “I also found out that day that I am three months pregnant and he doesn’t want anything to do with the baby.”

It was James to jump up and crush her into a hug, “holy shit. I’m going to be a great-grandpa! This is fucking great! Sue, we need to pull out all of the baby stuff we have and see what new shit we need to buy! Fuck, I’m so fucking excited!” Everyone’s mouths were hanging open just looking at him. Anvil just assumed that James would be the pissed off one and Sue the excited one.

“Son, aren’t you excited? How the hell are you not jumping up and down, this is great news! Oh, except the part where the little mother fucker cheated and doesn’t want to claim my great-grandchild.” Chloe smiled at her Grandpa, “Grandpa, I fucking love you.” She started giggling.
