Chapter One - Pilot
The year was 2012, the first day of 4th grade, and the last year at being at the elementary school, Samantha Rose was dropped off, and walked to the back of the school where the playground was, and where all of her friends were. Samantha saw her main friends, Keira, Aisling and Alli, they all went down the orange slide as class began. The girls were all in the same classes, which
Was good because Samantha never liked doing things or being alone. Samantha and the girls had math and social studies first. They opened their notebooks as they wrote with the pencils that they had it their pencil boxes. Samantha sat next to Keira, but then, on the other side of her was another boy, his name was William Davidson. William was a shy boy, he and his little brother by a year, Alex Davidson, were new students. Samantha didn't recognize them.
Will was shedding tears, he hated school, and was scared.
She held his hand, "Don't worry, your not alone." She smiled as he smiles back. When class would end, they would go to recess, playing with a red ball, jumproping or running around on the playground. The best part about it was that Samantha has become such good friends with Alex and Will, they were like her brothers, but in a friendship way.
She finally felt like she wasn't alone, she thought that she had everything that she would have wanted. And yet, before she knew it, things would get ever better. Two weeks later, Samantha, her mom, dad and her five year old little brother, Tyler, went to P.A, because they were getting a dog. The roster of little Rat Terriers were adorable. Samantha accidently kept stepping on their tails, because she was nine and didn't know better,
But she cuddled with them after. The puppies climbed all over her.. Until there was this one dog. All of the dogs had their tails cut off, except this one. This particular dog had a black tail with a white tip, Samantha adored the dog, and so, they brought him, named him Brantley and gave him a "Jets" collar. Samantha's father loved the Jets back then, football was all he cared about, way before golf.
At the time the family got home, they cuddled with the new puppy, Samantha took pictures with her fake camera, that was made out of popsicle sticks and buttons. She then fell on the hard ground, got a cut, and then, Brantley licked the scratch, like her Mother was kissing it with her beautiful lips. Samantha shed tears, and knew that Brantley was meant to be her best friend, not matter what people said.
