1 - Christmas Eve
It was Christmas eve and my brother Harry and I were playing in the yard. We were playing fetch with our dog Fin." Marlin, Harry come dinner's ready". So Harry caught Fin in his hands and we both walked home. Harry was covered in dirt as he fell down in a muddy puddle while we were playing.
Mom caught him and said," Harry go and take a bath now, Only then you will get your dinner today and don't sit in that chair you got that little trickster". "OK Mom I got it", He said. I sat down in the chair with my Dad and Mom brought the dinner. Harry came and sat down near to me and asked Dad what he was getting for Christmas. "Sigh.....I am sorry Harry I couldn't buy you both any gifts because I don't have much money left in me, but I will give you something as soon as I get some money in my hands I promise", Said Dad.
Harry became really upset and ran towards his bed and slept without having his dinner, which was really delicious with salad and fish!! So Mom, Dad and I enjoyed the dinner. Then Dad was watching TV, while mom was washing the dishes in the kitchen. I went to harry and asked him, "Hey Harry don't become upset so easily, If Dad can't buy us any gifts Santa could"! Harry got up and stared at me and said "That's a great idea"!!
