As you all know Parth is Parth Samthaan or Maanik from kaisi ye yaariaan and he lives in Mumbai ( aur kaha rahenge he is an actor).
Ms. Praneeta is a software engineer who has recently shifted in Mumbai with her mother because of her transferrable job in the same housing complex as Parth and most precisely his neighbour (humare murder ki planning mat karna please).
