Summary

A 40% fanfic on two close members in the band...Then the backstory to how a group of emo boys with voice, bass, and a lot of eyeliner found fame. Ryan Ross I can't believe it...He's gone. "Ryan, you there?" said Brendon from the other side of the door to where I get ready for shows. I sniffled and splashed my face with water before answering, "Yes..." "Can I come in?" "No...Yes." He opened the door and found me sitting on the floor against the wall about to cry silent tears again, and shut the door before joining me on the floor. "Is this about your dad?" he asked. "No, the sexy blonde backstage. Of course, this is about my dad..." "Was gonna say, she single? Brendon said with a charming grin. I just let my head down and his smile faded and he said, "Look, he didn't think you'd make it and look how far you got. Ryan, we love you buddy, and I hate seeing you down." "That's the thing...I wish he would have believed in me. Our first performance down east, he didn't even bother to watch it on the TV." "Maybe we could find something out of this...he missed your skin when you were east. You clicked your heels and wished for me, right?" "You could say that." he said with a broken smile, "This world sucks...like a broken bone." "It's still home, remember that." "Hey, hold on a second," he said as he grabbed his guitar.

Is this...

Brendon Urie

A friend and I were listening to the radio while driving down Santimonica boulevard, to a show in Troubador, and then I heard a familiar tune playing on air...

“Hm...must be Fallout...”

When the entering tune finished it started with, “Oh, well imagine-”

“THAT’S MY SONG!!! OH GOD!!! THIS IS ME!!! I'M SINGING!!!” I shouted at the top of my lungs while cranking it up to 100%.

I whipped out my phone speed dialed the guys to turn on the station and we all just freaked basically. It was amazing! We agreed to meet at Ryans house, where we practice, and to talk about this...

5 minutes later...

I honestly forget where I was going...

“Screw it,” I said as I and took one more lap around before nearly speeding to Ryan’s house, “I just still can’t believe this...”

Ryan Ross

I wonder how many times you can hide in your hood before you realize that it’s okay to hate me because I do too...My phone started buzzing, and when I pick it up it Brendon was in the caller ID...

I answered with a, “Yeah, what?”

All I heard was a fuzzy, “Closing the goddamn door now it’s better to face these kinds of things-”

“With a sense of poise and rationality! Dude is that-”

“On the-”

“Radio!” we shout in unison.
