Reader discretion advised. For The Love Of Your Hollow Body is a glimpse into the mind of a rebellious woman, amidst the ever progressive and convoluted western world. Her name is Alice and fear is her biggest enemy. Very few seem to believe her as she sings tirade after tirade of a nihilistic philosophy. Alas, no matter how loud her protest she is commonly dismissed by others. Slowly hope becomes the villain preventing her happiness within the status quo. As witnesses to her tumble down a tunnel of drug-induced debauchery, we quickly find out that Alice can not reconcile what is proper and respectable for a young woman in the 21st century. On the way she examines love in all its forms: romantic, friendship, the love of music, the love of things like new shoes and expensive coffee. Which of these loves are real? And what defines real? These are the questions that plague Alice as she spends night after night in seedy bars giving herself to the music.
