Summary

Kayla is a human-born who possessed wings in her childhood. However, her father took away her gift. Years later, she'd do anything to have them back. Kayla was born among humans - lived as one, played her piano as one and breathed as one of them. But she possessed the gift of wings, some strange bones, muscles and skin, covered by feathers that would take her to the sky whenever she felt like it. But her parents wanted for her the best - to fit the pattern - so they took away her wings, they made them unusable. Years after that, the Red Fire struck their lands, everything being burned to the ground. Kayla burned through that fire, her wings too, and she woke up to a war camp where she'd have to learn how to rescue herself from all kind of situations. All while fighting to get her wings back and stop the Red Fire – and everything that it brought.
