Hope like a fragile summer bird

Too quickly flown away

Hope is what got to follow you that day

As we ran from the cops

Hope is what got me through the times

That death was more preferable

It gave me family

It gave me a home

We concurred everything together

The tower

Turo island

The seven years

Grand magic tournament

Even the dragons

You stood by my side

All of you

You shared my tears

As I did yours

My laughter

My joy

So why did I have to lose you

Why did zeref

Have to destroy it all

First grey

Then erza

Then my dear natsu

At the hands of a monster

Oh but he fell

He fell from his high perch

Once thought to never been able to be killed

Now falls to the hands of fairy tail

Though we stand here bruised and battered

And magic is no more

Our summer bird has not abandoned us

For hope

Let natsu see his dragon again

Erza to heal from her prison

For grey to find his family

For them to die in peace

So though these tears run sore right now

And laughter feels like a thousand blades across my tongue

I know hope has not abandoned us

It will let rise again

So know I stand at the memorial for you guys

And all who lost their lives that day

I want to say

Our guild is still so strong

No magic has not destroyed us

Our summer bird came back after winter

Though these tears are still stinging a little

And a smile is sometimes still hard to muster

I know it will get easier

So until we can meet again
