Prologue
In the “Land of Beginnings” anything can be changed, especially bad things—as if they never happened. To get there one first passes through the Mushroom Forest (an exceedingly dangerous place of Edibles); then on to the Crystal Mountain, where one slippery step could be a climber’s last; next in the treacherous journey comes the Blue Valley, where everything is blue, even the animals (blue, dark and deep—and don't dare fall asleep); having survived thus far, one must now be extra certain of his or her bravery before continuing—the rest of the journey requiring one to keep a perfectly pure heart if not to be captured and tortured by the most terrible of witches, Chantilla. After final passage through the accursed “Land of Dreary,” Chantilla’s shadowy kingdom of demons, the trekker will arrive in the Land Of Beginnings. As a reward he or she will be given a pouch of healing rainbow to take home, for this is where all rainbows begin before the Color Fairies paint them across the sky….
