Dragon Rescue

One morning in China, Mulan was training in the training camp with Shang and the three soldiers, Yao, Ling, and Chien-Po. They were practicing their warrior skills.

The three princesses, Ting-Ting, Su, and Mei, were watching as Mulan, Shang, and the trio trained.

Then, Mulan noticed that Mushu and Cri-Kee were not with her. "Hey, where's Mushu and Cri-Kee?" she asked.

The others heard Mulan.

"We haven't seen them." said Chien-Po.

"They were here a while ago." said Ling.

"Yeah, and it's been like, twenty minutes since we started training." said Yao.

"Ten minutes, actually." said Ting-Ting.

"That's strange." said Mulan.

"When was the last time you saw them?" asked Shang.

But Mulan didn't remember. "I don't really know, but I did see them in the tent when I woke up." she said.

"Weren't they with you while you were training?" asked Mei.

"Um, no." said Mulan.

"Well, then I guess we should start looking for them." said Shang.

The others agreed and started searching all over the training camp.

Mulan and Shang looked in the tents while the three soldiers and the princesses looked all over the training course, but there was no sign of Mushu or Cri-Kee.

After ten minutes of searching, Mulan and the gang regathered.

"Now where could those two be?" asked Mulan.

Shang and the others shrugged.

Suddenly, the gang heard a cry for help

"What was that?" asked Su.

Then, Shang turned to the clock tower and saw Mushu and Cri-Kee on top of it. "Look! Up there!" he said, pointing to the top of the tower.

The others turned to the clock tower as well. Then they gasped.

"Help us!" cried Mushu.

The others knew Mushu and Cri-Kee were afraid of heights.

"Oh, no. They're in trouble!" said Mei.

"What do we do?" asked Ling.

"We have to save them!" said Mulan.

"But how?" asked Yao.

Then, Shang saw a ladder. "Mulan, grab that ladder!" he said to Mualn.

So Mulan grabbed the ladder and placed it in front of the clock tower. Then she started to climb up the ladder. "I could use a little help here!" she called out to the others.

So Shang and the two trios also started to climb up the ladder and followed Mulan.

When Mulan and the gang made it to the top, they stood on each other's shoulders in an attempt to reach Mushu and Cri-Kee.

"Hold on, we got you!" said Mulan as she tried to grab Mushu and Cri-Kee.

But before Mulan could grab Mushu and Cri-Kee, the ladder began to wobble.

"Steady there, guys!" Shang called out to Yao, Ling, and Chien-Po, who were standing on the top of the ladder.

But it was too late.

The ladder tipped over, sending Mulan, Shang, the three soldiers, and the princesses falling to the ground.

Mushu gasped at the sight while Cri-Kee jumped in fear.

"Is everyone okay?" asked Shang.

"We're okay!" the two trios said at the same time.

"This is not good." said Su.

"What do we do now?" asked Chien-Po.

Then, Mulan had an idea. "I know what to do." she said confidently.

"What's the plan?" asked Ting-Ting.

"Watch this." said Mulan as she walked to the clock tower.

"Be careful." said Shang.

"Don't worry, I'll be fine." said Mulan

With that, Mulan ran to the clock tower, and using her skills, she jumped to the top of the tower and grabbed Mushu and Cri-Kee.

"Mulan, it's you!" said Mushu.

Cri-Kee jumped with excitement.

Mulan smiled at Mushu and Cri-Kee. Then she turned to the others. "Guys, grab a rope!" she called out.

So Shang and the two trios grabbed a nearby rope and threw to Mulan.

"Hold on tight." Mulan said to Mushu and Cri-Kee.

Mulan used the rope to help herself, Mushu, and Cri-Kee get down from the tower.

As Mulan got back on the ground with Mushu and Cri-Kee, the three soldiers and the princesses cheered.

Even Shang smiled. "Good work, Mulan." he said.

"You saved us." said Mushu, crying tears of joy.

"Of course I did, Mushu. I wouldn't want any of you to get hurt." said Mulan.

"You're amazing, Mulan." Mei said to Mulan.

"Thanks, Mei." said Mulan.

"Let's celebrate!" said Ling.

"I think that's a great idea." said Mulan.

So everyone celebrated Mulan's victory for the rest of the morning.
