Prologue

It was another winter night in warrior high. But not just any normal night. Tonight was the eve before Christmas. And most of the students had already left for their homes to spend the Christmas holidays with their families. Except few.
The nights were chilly as the school is in deheradun amidst the coniferous forests. It was snowing outside covering the whole area with a white milky blanket.
Manik malhotra, age 16 son of meera malhotra now kapoor,( why...? That’s a story for another time )was as every year didn’t leave for home instead stayed back in the hostel studying under his lamp on his wooden desk when he heard something hitting his window. He frowned then got up from his desk to check what it was.
He opened the window and checked but found nothing. Then opened the balcony to see more clearly that’s when he saw her climbing his balcony walls and he rolled his eyes in frustration.
“what the hell are you doing Nandini...gir jaogi .haath pair toot jaenge... “saying he rushed to that crazy girl to help her climb down the wall.
After making her stand properly he folded his arms and gave her a questioning look to which she flashed her battisi .
" Aree Nahi girungi mein baba... Mera big big walls climb Karne ka experience Hai.... ” said nandini while dusting herself.
Manik shook his head in disbelief.
" tum professional stealing Ya theft ka Kaam Karti Ho kya.... Waise what are you doing here at this time ....?” asked manik as it was 11: 58 pm. A few more minutes before Christmas Eve.
" mein na Tumhe kiss Karne ayi hun... ” said Nanduni like an excited kid bouncing on her place like a bunny.
At this Maniks eyed widened.
" wh-what..?!” Manik almost screamed in shock.
“Han...! You know there’s a saying that when a couple kiss each other under the mistletoe on the strike of Christmas Eve, they stay together forever loving eachother.. ” said nandini dreamily.
" and who said we are a couple...? And that I would let you kiss me... ” he said sarcastically.
To which nandini pouted like a baby.
" nahi Hai toh ban jaenge... After I kiss you today.. ” saying this she winked at him.
Manik rolled his eyes and said, ” go home nandini... It’s late. Agar warden ko Pata Chala na phir problem Ho jaega.... ”
With this he turned around and walked to his door. Just then he was pulled by his collar and bent down such that he almost lost his balance. And his lips were sealed by another soft plum ones. Maniks eyes widened in shock as he held her.
Due to their height difference he was bending while nandini was on her toes with her head raised up.
She kissed him ever so softly biting his lips then entering her tongue in his mouth to explore him. Then finally after a minute she left him breathing heavily looking in his shocked eyes.
“merry Christmas manik... ” said Nandini smiling then looked above them to find them standing just under the mistletoe. Then pecking his cheeck gently she left climbing back the balcony walls leaving a shocked manik behind.
