I snap my eyes open to the sound of a twig breaking. I sit up in my tent as I rub the sleep out of my eyes with shaking hands. My hands drop as I hear another rustle. I grab my hand gun at the edge of my pillow as I start to unzip my tent. I peek my head out of the small opening as I look around. My eyesight not fairing well with the pitch black of the night. My eyes snap to a place into the darkness as I hear leaves crunching. I unzip the opening of the tent slowly, silently, not wanting to rustle the creature in hiding. I finally get the tent unzipped enough for me to get through as I start to crawl out. I sigh as I stand up and look into the darkness with a frown.

“Alright now, come out. I know you’re out there, so cut the crap and show yourself!” I shout into the night as squint my eyes. There is a moment of silence and I almost think that I dreamed of it, when a snarl echos through the forest. I freeze as I hear the creature continue to growl and snarl at me from the darkness. I go to take a step back when it lunges at me. The creature moves to fast for me to see him, but suddenly I wasn’t standing anymore, I was being dragged across the forest floor at an remarkable rate. Sticks and rocks were scraping my back and arms as I tried to stop the creature from taking me any further. With my eyesight completely useless and no way to make this creature let me go, I resorted to shooting. I still had the gun in my hand from earlier, and I had just now noticed. Blindly shooting into the open darkness to where I thought this beast was got me no where. My gun was empty in no time. I threw it down as I try to reach where the beast had me, but to no avail. My short arms couldn’t reach my long legs, so again I was unsuccessful. I open my mouth to my last resort, screaming, but before I can I stop. The beast lets me go and my head bangs on the ground. I cry out in pain as I sit up quickly, my head spinning. I look around once it stops. The beast that was dragging me was no where to be found. I stand up and dust myself off.

“What just happened?” I ask myself not looking for an answer.

“Well I believe you just got dragged here by a Lycan, you lucky girl.” A voice says from behind me and I jump.

“Oh sweet cheese and crackers. Where did you come from?” I ask as I take in the figure that is beside me. Wait was he fl-.

“Yes, I’m flying.” He states simply and my eyebrows furrow. How’d he-.

“I can read your mind, and please block it from me because you have so many weird thoughts going on up there it’s hard to keep up.” He says and I look at him dumbfounded. He was flying, and he could read my mind, I really did hit my head pretty hard.

“Trust me girlie, flying around here is pretty normal, not the mind reading part though, that’s only for the special ones. Now, where did that Lycan of yours go?” He asks and I splutter in shock.

“What’s going on? Why am I here? What is this place?” I ask quickly and the flying man hold up a hand.

“Hold ya roll. What’s going on is that you just got transported from the mortal realm to here, our realm. We call this place Dastrati (Dast-rati), it’s the only realm where supernatural creatures all live together. And you just came from the mortal realm because a Lycan brought you in because you’re his mate.” He explains and I shake my head from information overload.

“Okay, that still leaves me with more questions, my name is Dara, and you are?” She asks him and he grins as he catches sight of something over her shoulder.

“I’m Feh, and it looks like your mate is right on time, and with clothes this time.” he says with a grin and I turn around so fast I might have whiplash. What I see makes me freeze, there was a man with dark black hair and green eyes, a muscular build and very tall. He walks up to us and stops right in front of me. He goes to pull me close but I take a big step back.

“Whoa buddy, hands off the merchandise, we just met, take a girl out to dinner first.” I say in a surprised voice as I back away from the really really attractive man. Feh laughs as he takes in the mans confused face.

“Arrow, seriously, I thought I taught you better!” Feh laughs out as he tries to catch his breath. The man, Arrow growls low in his throat at the flying man and Feh sobers up.

“Don’t you growl at me, there is a lady present.” Feh gestures towards me and my crossed arms which makes Arrow’s gaze turn back to me in a heated stare.

“Do you mind explaining why I’m here, because I was sleeping in my tent and the next thing I know I’m being dragged across the forest floor by some beast, and now I’m in another realm with supernatural creatures! I must be going crazy.” I exclaim as I try to get a hold of my own thought that are spinning out of control. Feh’s mouth is moving but I hear no words, from my head being hit earlier and all the new information, my head starts spinning and black dots cloud my vision. I loose my footing and start to fall, only to be caught by Arrow at the last second. His beautiful green eyes the last thing I see before I drift off into the abyss.
