The Ceremony
It had been about two months since The Corleone Family killed off The Russos’ Family; and their name was on the top of the news line, and they had new buyers and sellers. Though everything was finally back to normal, during the two months, Gabi had the old home rebuilt, basically slowing time for everyone but those who were like her, and it seemed more like a year, and their original house was back. Gabi gave the other house to David and Lillian, which was literally a block away. However during that time, Deborah had made plans for the ceremony to happen, at the end of the week, the ceremony will commence. Gabi could feel the excitement and tension in the house. It was finally the day for the ceremony. Gabi woke up that morning, as she had Alexander sleep in his old room, just a tradition that was in The Corleone Family. When she woke, she smiled as she got out of bed, and went to the shower, and took a long hot shower, after which she put on a robe, and went downstairs to get a cup of coffee. Once she had it, she went to the the den, to see how things were going, and her eyes sparkled as she saw how well Deborah had done so far. Gabi smiled as she looked at how everything was, and she liked it, she did well. She saw Deborah come to her and hug her. She looked at the wedding ceremony area, which was all white with white lights around the isle she was to walk down. There was a beautiful white lace canopy with flowers hanging from it, where the clergyman, as well as Gabi and Alexander would stand.
[Deborah]: She smiled and hugged Gabriella. “I hope you like it so far, would you like to see the reception area in the ballroom?” She asked smiling.
Gabi nodded as she sipped her coffee and followed Deborah to the ballroom, and she gasped as she saw how beautiful it was, Deborah got the colors right, she saw a stage being set up for the live band. Gabi had always been impressed with Deborah and what she did, but this was by far the BEST she had ever seen Deborah do. “This is....well simply amazing Deborah.” Gabi said as she continued to look around. The room was a light blue there were many chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. There were multiple tables covered with blue silk table cloth. The centerpieces were of beautiful bundled flowers that were the colors of blue and white. On the dance floor it could hold over two thousand people,without it being crowded. The ceiling had had different white lights hanging from the ceiling. And Gabi saw that there was a live band setting up on the stage.
Gabi hugged Deborah again. “Thank you for this, it’s truly lovely.” She said smiling, as she saw Lillian coming in holding a white dress bag. Gabi smiled as she went with Lillian to Gabriella’s bedroom, so that she could get ready. First Gabi did her hair, making sure it looked just the way she wanted it to. And then she worked on her makeup, going a little more traditional, but still sticking to her own style. She smiled as she looked at herself in the mirror she heard Lillian gasp seeing her hair and makeup and Gabi slightly laughed. “Not bad right?” Gabriella had made her hair in a half up and half down style, the part up was braided and swirled together, as the bottom part was both wavy and curly. As for her makeup, she wore the colors gold, white and a slight smokey look on the side, as she wore a deep color red upon her lips.
[Lillian]: She gasped as she saw Gabriella and how she looked, she heard her words and she nodded. “That is more than not bad, you don’t even have the dress on yet, and you look beautiful.” She said honestly.
Gabi laughed some as she looked at Lillian; “Well thank you.” She said smiling, as she heard a knock on her door, she could tell by the scent it was Lionel. “Come in.” She said as she saw Lionel just deck his head in.
[Lionel]: He smiled looking at his sister. “Just wanted you to know people are starting to come in, all the men are ready, let me know when you’re ready.” He said as he closed the door behind him.
She smiled as she saw Deborah come in, and Gabi watched as Lillian and Deborah get dressed. It was then time for them to help her out with her dress.
Walking Down The Isle:
Gabi watched as she saw Lillian and David before her, Henry and Deborah before her, and Lionel was standing beside her. She smiled as she heard the music began to play, for them to start walking down the isle. The song that was playing was called ‘Him and I’ by G-Eazy & Halsey. When Gabi heard the music, she watched David and Lillian to walk first, David taking the side of Alexander, and Lillian to the side where Gabriella would soon be. The same happened with Henry and Deborah. And when it came to her and Lionel, she smiled at him, as they took their time walking down the isle. Only those who mattered were invited, mostly Corleone Family, and some friends. She heard them all gasp as she walked down the isle and she smiled. Her eyes then locked on Alexander, as she felt her heart skip a beat, seeing how amazingly handsome he looked. She couldn’t really decipher the look on his face, but she hoped it was a good look. She heard gasps from family and friends as they saw her wedding dress, which was a corset top,that had a skin tone top that melded with the corset, diamonds were on the sheer top, and the corset. Which led down to her beautiful white ball gown bottom. As the music stopped Lionel gave her hand to Alexander, and she smiled widely as she awaited for the clergyman.
