The old lady turned around to look at her grandson as she heard the word. “Where did you hear that word?”, the boy pointed at the wooden bookshelf. “I saw a book with the title 'mythicalous'..”, she smiled. “It is a word..”, he scratched his not-so-itchy head and pouted. “I've never heard of that word before..”, without saying a word, the old lady brought the kid towards the bookshelf. There, she took the book and sat on the rocking chair. “Why didn't you read the book to find out the meaning of it?”

“It doesn't have pictures, so I'm not interested with it..”, he shrugged with a boring face. The old lady smirked a little. “Are you sure it doesn't have pictures??”, he nodded confidently. “We'll see about that Samuel...”, she opened the first page of the book and it shines brighter than any stars, which impressed him.

“Woahh!!”, he instantly took the book from her lap to look closer at it. “Open the next page to see something more incredible..”, he did what he was told and it excites him even more. “FAIRIES??”, he shouted as six fairies were flying around him at the moment. He tried to catch it but it only go pass through him like a hologram. “It's not real Sammy..”, he pouted and was about to open the next page before the old lady stopped him. “Don't you wanna know their names??”

“Aren't they the fairies from that old movie called Tinkerbell?”, she shook her head. “Nope, they are way more better than the fairies in the animated series..”, she pointed at three fairies who are sitting on the book. “These are Evgeny, Rosary and Matilda..” “The first one looked fierce..”, he shivered as he looked closer at the fairies'. “Don't mess with her or she'll blow you to a far far away place..”, she chuckled. “The ones flying around you are Claire, Britnie and Kelly..”

He opened the next page and nearly passed out as something came out of the book drastically. “DRAGONS?!!”, he shouted in fear as they were four big dragons flying above them. “They are celestial dragons. The orange one is Cody, the green one is Kyle, red is Jeremiah and chocolate is Michael~” “They are scary, let's go to the next page!!”, he quickly came opened the next page and it shocked him even more.

“ARGHHH!!”, he throw the book away from him as he saw four pairs of scary eyes with different colours. “Whose eyes are those?!”, Samuel faced her in fear but she remained silent with a smile. She signalled him to look at the book, and there, stand four handsome looking man. “VAMPIRES?!”, he quickly hide behind his grandma, not wanting his bloods to be sucked. “It's not real Sammy!” “I know! But this book is magical, it's not impossible that the creatures in it suddenly become real!!”, the old lady face palmed. “You're such a coward..” “I don't care! Tell me their names and move on quickly!”

“That is Eduardo and his brother Diego..”, she pointed at the two vampires who were busy having a staring fight. “Behind you is Matthew and Tyler..”, he gulped as his grandma mentioned that they were behind him. “They are not real. They are not real. They are not real..”, he repeatedly said it to calm himself down as he crawled towards the book and went to the next page before going back behind his grandma again. Nothing came out of the book which made him confused. “That's all??”, he crawled again towards the books, and to his surprise, waters flows out and singing could be heard. “Woah.. They are pretty..”, he said in awe as four MERMAIDS were swimming under the water. “They are King Triton's descendants..” “That's explains their beauty and mini crowns..”

“That's Moana, Jane, Amethyst and Adele..” “I can tell Amethyst is the boyish one..”, he said as he saw her having a seahorse race with the merman princes. “Enough staring at those ocean princesses, go to the next page..”, he pouted. “Let me enjoy this sight first..”, she threw a pillow to him which made him glare at her in a childish way. “Next page please!!”, he rolled his eyes and opened the next page.

“Is that how hell looked like?!”, he looked closer at that page of the book. There he saw a place with fires and larva all around. He could also feel the heat and heard screaming. “Ouch! that's cruel!!”, he winced as he saw sinners being tortured by the DEVILS. “What are their names, Odu?”, he asked. “Move away from the book first..”, he do as he's asked to and four DEVILS flew out from the book. “They looked more like an angel than a devil..”, she agreed. “The most angel looking one is Nathaniel, followed by Charles, his brother Arthur and Jesse..”.

“Two types of creatures left..go to the next page..”, he opened the next page and screamed his lungs out. “I ALMOST DIED BECAUSE OF THOSE DRAGONS, AND NOW WEREWOLVES?!”, he trembled as three werewolves were walking around him, sniffing and growling. “They won't bite you..They are nice puppies~” “SERIOUSLY GRANDMA?!”, she chuckled.

“Don't be so dramatic Sammy..” “JUST TELL ME THEIR NAMES ALREADY!!”, he shouted in frustration as the werewolves looked like they wanted to eat him. “That's Christiano, Juan and Asher..You'll be dead once—”, he didn't want to hear more and flipped the page. “These are the MIXED CREATURES..”, she said as the six creatures sat under a big apple tree. “Tiara and Laila are half Medusa, Angie and Trisha are half Witch, Chrismia and Grace are half Nymphs..”, he sighed in relief and closed the book. “I am interested with this book now, but I need to calm myself down first..”

“Too much surprises huh?”, he nodded and get up, leaving his grandma alone there. “But, why are they called 'mythicalous'?” Samuel stopped half way and turned around to face his grandma. “Because..they are fabulous, suspicious, precious, marvelous, miraculous and delicious..” “Delicious?!”, she nodded. “Eww, who would ever eat them?! ”, she smiled and picked up the book. “You'll see Sammy, the adventure is just about to begin..”, she said softly before bringing the book with her to Samuel's bedroom, leaving Samuel clueless and confused at the kitchen's hallway.
