The Hopeless Meets the Homeless
I drive home from work taking the same route home everyday. And everyday, on the exit to my house there is always this visually-troubled soul, passing himself off as a human being. Some of society call him a homeless-man. He is the Homeless man that stands at my exit ramp, begging for change.
“Begging for change”. Isn’t that an odd pairing of words. The man is literally begging for a change in his life with the hopeful aspiration coupled with the naive false belief that people actually give a shit. Do you want to know what the biggest rub of it all is? It is the false hope that some small amount of pocket change can really add up to something to do something. You know, something really significant. Enough to make your parents no longer ashamed and finally able to acknowledge your existence in casual conversation. The real illusion is this poor bastard actually thinks he has a chance to change.
You ever wonder how they got that way? I know, I did and that’s where it all started.

Oooh! Next chapter, here I come
Amazing start
It's hard on anyone that finds themselves homeless, giving them some change won't help them much, but not giving anything seems almost cruel.💔❤️
