Chapter 1

"Are you listening?" Aria snapped at Dexter suddenly as he had zoned out. He realized and scratched his head.

"I'm. I'm. When will you stop blabbering shit?" He asked irritated as she kept speaking on and on.

"When you, for once, listen to what I'm saying without zoning out." She said and walked inside the canteen.

"And what are you even thinking?" Aria asked and waved at the other who were sitting at the table.

Liam and Julia said out loud, "Obviously, his dream girl."

Chloe just waved her hands at them and smiled a little too long looking at Dexter. Dexter shook his head at Chloe.

"I know that, dumb heads. But how come he only thinks about her?" Aria complained. "Liam, do you too?"

"Why would I think about his girl?" Liam said only to get a face shot with a bag as Dexter threw it.

"When are you planning to tell us?" Chloe asked.

"When he tells the 'her'!" Liam replied and Dexter nodded, stuffing the food in his mouth.

"And when will that be?" Julia popped her eyebrows in curious. Dexter looked at Julia and then at that plate.

"Not anytime soon." He said, looking somewhere away from the table.

"Listen. Why don't you just go and face her like a man?" Aria asked.

"Hoodie! It isn't that easy." Liam replied to Aria, mocking her hoodie, like every time he does.

"Why?" Aria cried.

"Because you will never understand. Go and find a guy first. Then tell Dexter what to do." Liam snapped at Aria. Aria picked the jug and splashed the water in Liam face, "Asshole! That is none of your business."

"You retarded! I'm going to kill you today." Liam said and hit her, making her swear and throw punches at him too.

"Guys. Guys! Stop fighting." Julia kept shushing them as everyone in the canteen turned to look at them.

Dexter stood and started walking towards the exit. So, did the other four.

"Why do you people embarrass yourself?" Dexter complained as they walked into the lecture hall way.

In the bar,

Dexter had taken too much drink as he came early and all the five had sat in their routine table.

"Listen! I actually had a dream of proposing her." Dexter said.

"Only in your dreams, you will." Chloe scoffed.

"Why so? One day I will walk to her and speak everything?" Dexter said in between his hiccups.

"Like what?" Liam asked. Dexter thought for a few seconds, stammered and finally declared, "I don't know."

"He will say... weather report." Julia exclaimed making fun of him. "It is a nice weather today. Warm and cozy. May get hot, a little." She mocked him with the action of holding a flower.

Dexter slapped away her hand. Aria shushed everyone and asked him, "Does this person really exist? I mean, we have never seen her." The other three suddenly turned to her and thought for some time. It was true actually. None of them had seen her. They agreed in what she said.

"She does. What do you mean? You want to know her?" Dexter asked them. Everyone nodded and Julia said, "Can we meet her?"

Dexter shook his head. "No. No. That won't be happening. But..." He paused making them wait eagerly. "I will tell you about her." The eagerness in them died the next second as he went on.

"You know she is the most beautiful person, I have seen........ Her hair looks so soft and I feel like touching and caressing it every time I walk past her........ She has so much depth in what she does and how she is... I'm totally in love with that girl...." He went on and on.

Unable to bear these, Liam order another two rounds of drink for them and looked at everyone who were looking at Dexter with so much disinterest. Julia had laid flat on the table and was listening to him. Aria had her ears closed with both palm and kept looking at him pathetically. Chloe gestured Liam 'dead' and hung her head down.

"Dexter." Liam called out that went unheard. "Dexter!" Liam shouted grabbing everyone's attention. "That girl is so lovely. She is a perfect match for you." He said trying to stop Dexter from continuing further.

"Liam. I love you." Dexter kissed him on his cheeks, making Liam feel disgust and push him away a little. "Wait, I will tell you more about her..." And Dexter continued.

Aria threw the glass at Liam, he just missed by an inch and caught it safely.

"Did you just notice, this whole time he has never said a one thing significant. No name, no color, no places, nothing specific... He isn't that drunk." Liam whispered to the other three and tilted a drink in Dexter's mouth to shut him up. Drinking the whole thing in one go, Dexter continued again.

"Dexter. Enough. Please!" Julia cried in despair.

"Come let's go. I can't take it anymore. I'm leaving." Chloe said and got up along with Liam. Dexter was still blabbering. As everyone went, Aria was left to hear it.

"Guys, don't leave me alone. Not with this drunkard monster." Aria whispered to Julia and Chloe.

"Liam, please?" She asked.

Liam tongued out and said, "Drag him out. That's the punishment for what you did to me in the morning."

She felt helpless. She turned to look at Dexter and shut his mouth with her hand. His eyes went wide in shock. She threatened him, "Not a word more. Just because I live next to your place, I can't afford to get my ear drum rot. Shut the fuck up or I'm leaving you alone." She snarled.

He showed a thumbs up and she moved back.

"Aria!" He called only to get shushed by her.

As they walked out,

"Dexter... that girl..." She asked and he nodded with an 'Hmm'.

"Are you really into her?" She asked.

"Yes. And..." He was talking and she intruded, "Which university is she studying?"

"Ours only." He said and then froze. "Not ours. Not ours. I was just joking. Forget it. Please forget it."

Aria started to laugh.

"Please don't tell them. Let this be our little secret." He begged.

"Why would I?" Aria asked.

"I will get you anything." He said.

"Hmm... Let me think about it." She said and walked front.

"And you... Don't ask me questions like that... I will blurt out everything." He whispered shallow as he felt bad for not telling them already.

"What is her name?" She asked popping her eyebrows. He smiled and tried to walk away only to stumble. Aria caught him and they walked to their house.

Their house was just in the same street, just two buildings away and opposite. As she dropped him at the doorstep, Aria asked, "What about tagging along with you while you propose her?"

"If I do, we will see." He said, pulling her hoodie down. "Take care." He said and walked inside.
