The Birthday

“What are you thinking about?”

Tyler voice break off my thoughts, seeing him looking at me curiosity.

I shake my head″Just thinking if your mom is up to something?”

Tyler raise his eyebrows “Like what?″

A few days ago, I was Tyler’s house, well playing games and hanging out. And since Caroline had nothing to do other then “Rotting at home like a dead person” she wanted to join in.

I pursed my lips, explaining to him “Like how I was over your house to play games and Caroline was also there because of me, she just kept eyeing her.”

Tyler shrugged “Probably she thinks that I’m dating Caroline.″

I raise my eyebrows, wondering if he is dating Caroline.

Noticing my expression, he gave me a look ″Obviously I’m not dating her and she is all yours.”

I sighed, brushing my hair off my face “I wish I could say that.”

Tyler looked at me in annoyance “Just confessed to her again!”

Thinking about it, knowing it’s not the right time with Stefan going MIA and Klaus not knowing that Elena is still alive ” I can’t, not now.”

I look outside, seeing Damon car pull up “I’ve got to go, I have brother and sister bonding time right now.”

“Why are we here?”

I asked as I look around the area, apparently Damon said he found a clue about Stefan.

Damon’s cell starts ringing,He checks the phone and then ignores the call.

I look at my brother, raising my eyebrow ″Elena?″

Damon looked at me, making faces.

I sighed, knowing the answer ” You know, you should just tell her where we are.”

Damon shake his head ″I can’t because Andie said this was a half lead and I don’t want to get her hope.”

I glance at Damon, frowning″ It’s too quiet.”

“You’re right.“Said Damon, walking towards the door.

I followed him, Damon began to tests the door with his foot and he is free to walk in.

I comes in and closes the door, I look around noticing there’s bloody handprints on the wall, finding the two dead women bodies sitting upright on the living room couch.

Ah, gross, I can’t stand looking at this.

I looked at Damon disgusted ” Please tell me Klaus did this.”

Damon shake his head, pursing his lips “Nope, Stefan did.”

I sighed, walking towards the dead body “This probably his signature..”

I frowned looking at the signature ‘S.S’ “I guess this is why they called him the ripper.”

Damon looked at me, signalling me to continue ” He feeds so hard that he blacks out and rips them apart, but then when he’s done, he feels remorse. Which is the stupid things”

I lift my leg up and wobbles the first woman’s knee with my foot.″And he put the bodies back together.”

Her head falls to the floor.

“Definitely, Stefan.” mumbled Damon

I went downstairs for Elena’s birthday party and trying to find my best friend but instead I bump into Caroline.

Caroline looked at me in surprise “You’re here..”

Things have became awkward for us after I told I would bring a date and she became cold to me suddenly

I smile softly at her “hey.”

She hesitated smiling “hey..”

I look at her down and up ” you look beautiful.”

She nodded awkwardly “thanks” and walked away from me.

I sighed, I took a cup from a guy who walking passed me ” thanks, I need it.”

I began to walk outside the house

Noticing Damon and Alaric, talking and drinking,I walked towards them.“Can I say Caroline looked hot.”

Damon rolled my eyes at me.

Alaric sighed, ignoring me “I am every parent’s worst nightmare. I am the chaperone teacher from hell.″

Damon grinned at me ” I love high school parties, hot girls everywhere, right Sam?”

I smirk, agreeing with him “hell yeah”

Ric rolled his eyes ″Isn’t Andie supposed to be coming?″

″Ten o’clock broadcast. Should be here in a little bit.″said Damon checking his watch.

″And the birthday girl is here!” I whistled at her when Elena left the boarding House looking all pissed and frustrated.

″Drink!″ Elena holds out her arm and takes Damon’s glass.

I raise my eyebrows at her wondering why does she look so annoyed ” what make you so pissed? Or who?”

She glanced at me before taking a drink from Damon ″Jeremy is smoking again.″

″Is his stash any good?″ask Damon smirking at her teasingly

Elena glare at him in annoyance ″You’re an ass.″then she look at Alaric pleading, expecting him to lecture on her brother″ Talk to him, please. He looks up to you.″

She puts the glass back in Damon’s hand and walks away.

″You’re screwed.″said Damon.

I began to say something but stopped when I saw my blonde gorgeous date waving at me.

I pat Damon’s and Alaric’s back ” Well got to go, my date have arrived.” I smirk at her mischievously as I walk towards her.

People are dancing and drinking at the party. And here’s me on the dance floor, dancing with the hot girl, I’m ignoring the fact that Caroline is standing on the edge looking at us dancing and drinking from a bottle.

Few minutes of dancing, I hear Matt’s voice.

″She’s a vampire Caroline! She killed a lot of people!″

I looked them and began to eves drop.

Caroline look at him in annoyance ″Matt,shh!″

Caroline glances at me then look at smart ″Its our nature! I’m a vampire too Matt! and I killed people. What is wrong with you?″

Matt shake is head ″I don’t know. I’m out of it...I guess.″

The hot girl looked at curiously “You alright, Sammy?”

I shake her head “Nothing and it’s Sam.” I grab her hand and walk towards to Caroline.

Matt walked passed me, I look at Caroline in questioning , who is glaring at the hot girl ″What’s wrong with him?″

″Nothing.″ Said Caroline, still looking and glaring at the hot girl.

″Great party Caroline!″said the hot girl.

Caroline fake a smile at her and glare at her hand which is holding mine ″Thanks!″ She compels her ″Now leave it!‴

The hot girl looked at me and smile “I’ll see you in school.” She walked away

I glance at the girl and looked at Caroline ” what the hell is wrong with you?”

Caroline glared at her “maybe you should figure it out.” And walks away from me.

“Geez, Sammy, what did you do?”

I looked at Damon with offended face ” I don’t even know what I did to her.”

Damon let out a chuckled ” I got to go and fetch Andie.”

I nodded “Want me to go with you?”

Damon shake his head ″No, You need to solve whatever happening between you and Caroline Sammy.” with that he pat my back and left the house.

I was looking around the house, finding Caroline and I saw her walking across the dancefloor looking a little bit drunk.

″Excuse me. Excuse me.″

She grabs a guy by the neck and lifts him so she can pass. I quickly walked toward her, blocking her.

She glared at me “Move it.”

I raised my eyebrow at her” Not until you tell me why you’re pissed.”

She faked a smile at me “I’m not pissed.”

I smirk at her “Really? Not because I brought a date?”

Caroline rolled her eyes, scoffing ″ Why would I be pissed? You brought a date. You’re dating. That’s...awesome.″

My eyebrows furrowed confused ″So, I’m not allowed to date anyone?”

″Hey, you told me that you like this blonde girl right? I mean you probably like her since she’s blonde .″said Caroline

“But you’re blonde too, I could be referring to you?”

“And you don’t even like me.” She pursed her lips.

My blue eyes began to soften ” if you don’t want me to date anyone, you could just tell me.”

“If you don’t, then I’m gonna find someone else for me to date with.” I gave her a shrugged.

″What should I say?″

″That you don’t want me to date someone else because you like me Caroline!” I snapped at her, getting tired of this games.

Caroline looked at me stunned “I-I don’t”

I nodded sarcastically “you’re still gonna pretend that you don’t like me?”

She didn’t say anything.

" Look, the blonde girl that I’m talking about?”

Caroline hesitated to nodded.

“It’s you Caroline, I like you. You’re the blonde girl that I wanna date.” I confessed, letting out of my chest.

Caroline looked at me and to kiss me, I freeze when she kiss me and I began to kiss her back slowly. We stop kissing and stare at each other.

Caroline back away from me, when she sees someone.

I look behind me, seeing Damon walking towards me, looking angry.

Caroline presses the bottle against his chest and he takes it.

″Hey! You missed the cake.″ said Caroline with that she leaves.

I looked at my brother awkwardly ” what’s up?”

He clenched his Jaw ″Stefan killed Andie.″

I frowned not believing his words ″What?″

″He told me to let him go. We need to let him go Sam.″said Damon.

I shake my head ″No, we can’t let him go, he’s our brother.″

″Well guess what? He’s gone!” He snap at me.

He took a deep breath, calming himself down.

“You can’t lose hope, Damon.”

Damon looked at me with pained expression ” there’s no point, he’s not coming back.”

He put the bottle on the table next to him and walk away from me.
