When Death meets a boy
Fideo was alone at his house that day. He was keeping his baby sister, Renata recently born since his parents went to Rome for the day.
Far from the house, a man watches carefully the young boy making the baby laugh throughout the bottom window. The boy was too busy to know what will happen next...
The man approaches the house and knocked on the door. When Fideo opened,the man acted as a friend of his dad, and asked to enter. “sure” Fideo answered artlessly. The man followed the boy who went to look for a certain document he was talking about. When Fideo turned around at the man, he had took out a dagger and sticked it on Fideo’s chest. The boy became very pale and was cold. But it didn’t worried the man who turned around and left the house.
The boy stood up from the ground when his sister called him by making sounds. Fideo walked towards the baby’s bed. “I’m alright,Renata,I’ll be fine” he said to reassure his sister. He put his bloody hand on one of the baby’s little cheek and kissed her other one.
Fideo’s body started to shiver but he still had some force to walk away from the baby girl. Slowly and carefully, he climbs on the stairs and walk toward the closest room, his parents.
Finally, Fideo falls on the ground of tiredness and weakness. At least, he could let go his last breathing and rest without waking up again.
