Saved from Abduction

Embrey Ericson was taken when she was 16, now she’s 21, between halfway brainwashed and manipulated and the bout of amnesia she’s been suffering she doesn’t remember anything. She was hit on the head the night she was captured. But something has been telling her that she doesn’t belong where she is.

Finally when the newest girl shows up she’s very vocal and manages to tell the girls that none of them belong there. There is a total of 6 of them 3 of them don’t remember much. Embrey decides to run to get them help she manages to slip away thinking maybe there is someone looking for her as well. Once she’s out of the abandoned town in only a t-shirt and skimpy panties she finds a cabin that has a limited supply and she takes enough for a few days and after that she is on her own.

The girls are all numbered instead of using their names, for the ones who don’t remember the number thing isn’t an issue it’s the ones who remember that are the problem.

Justin Mathers is a 32 year old cop turned PI from Oklahoma; his older sister calls him distraught that her daughter is missing. He leaves right away to help. As he’s investigating where the trace of the SUV snatched her disappeared... he never expected to literally run into a barely clothed girl in the middle of the woods. When she runs into him she immediately freaks out and begs him not to take her back. He assures her that he won’t take her back. He has to get her out.

He gets her out as quickly as possible, feeling like they are being watched. He hates that he’ll have to start all over the next day but her safety is important too. The local department sends someone else to check it out so he can stay with the victim, since he helped her they think shell talk to him.

She was abused physically, but not sexually. They called her 169 she has no clued what to be called at first. She always waits for permission for so many things. When she feels she’s done something wrong she always cowers no matter how much Justin is gentle with her.

Soon the man who helped her begins to develop feelings for her other than protectiveness. She begins to have nightmares all the time except when his near, they try hypnosis to try to remember her childhood and where she belonged before she was kidnapped. Flash backs start from her past and they learn that Justin’s niece was the newest girl who showed up. She’s blocked out how she left the abandoned town but she begins to help slowly.

He helps her along the journey to finding who she is and to try to get his niece and the other girls back.
