The First War
They say the Earth was a creation of the Cosmos. The Kadeas call it Infinity, the Daekos of God and the scientists of the Big Bang. But was that the name of the phenomenon? We won’t find out unless we know the origin of all the life that existed and exists now.
It all started when a golden light spread creating the planets, stars, satellites and stars we know today. At first, they all looked the same because they were covered in pure huohi with miwa heart, diguqi body and breathed from the same kalawi.
Thinking of the confusion that would recognize each one, the greatest of all decided to distribute a little of their cells to generate the sons and daughters that turned the stars. The others competed among them who could cool the whole body without losing the four elements that gave rise to each other’s lives. The Earth was the first to cool down all over and became the damsel admired throughout the universe.
The Earth always received gifts from other planets, satellites and stars as a sign of gratitude and worship. In one of those present was Mathorn, the mother tree that coloured all the rocks and mountains, planted trees and generated plant life on Earth. Thus came at the end a beautiful island called Namize.
In that hot and dry season when everything looks like the Sahara Desert, on the shores of the first island created by the Universe was the Zanbaengio Temple which stood in the open sky where the sacred gifts of the Earth, the five mystical artefacts, were deposited.
The mystical artefacts represented one of the five elements of nature, miwa, diguqi, huohi, kalawi and madna. It was the artefacts that generated the most lives by cheering each day and every night. This is also how the Kadeas, the first beings who inhabited the Earth and other creatures were born.
The Zanbaengio Temple was a maze of rocks with various traps and passages to confuse the invaders from reaching the earth’s gifts, the mystical artefacts. Whoever could make it to the centre of the entire Temple would receive the final prize. Many failed and few managed to find their way out after giving up the search for the mysterious treasure.
Mathôrn was still in Namize and was discovered by a group of Kadeas who treated her as if she were a greater being, a deity. For the Kadeas, Mathôrn was more than just a tree in the middle of an island, it was a being that cheered and coloured the whole of Namize with its golden glow that was an effect of the liquid that covered it and the leaves seemed made of huohi flames giving it an appearance of gold.
The Biggest Star of the Morning once again cleared the horizon announcing the birth of a beautiful day with lots of attractive light.
Every day, spread throughout Namize, the Kadeas worked rigorously to meet each other’s needs.
Every year the Gods of the Earth were celebrated during the autumn equinox to receive the peace, prosperity, and protection of the mother of all forms of life. But not everyone agreed to live the same way as the others. That’s why four Kadeas volunteered to find the treasure capable of reversing that situation.
For many we know how difficult it is to live in these conditions we call life, fortunately, today we will go in search of the treasure that will change our lives forever and for the better.— said Gaius smiling confidently.― And don’t worry about us because we will come back with the prize and everyone will receive the gift that Mother Earth will give us.— concluded.
And how do we know if you’re telling the truth? How do you know it’s not just a story?― complained Leticia.
Because it’s not! We’re going to find the treasure and we’re going to come back to change all that.— Gaius replied.
Gaius, Keila, Mila and Fernando continued their journey in search of mystical artefacts through a map that Gaius found in his grandfather’s diary. The map was very old and only had the image of Namize without many details with a tree in the middle.
It doesn’t say much to do here. Looks like we’re going to have to search every place on this map.— said Caio confused by the images on the map.
Maybe we should give this up now. It’s going to be impossible to find the treasure without knowing where it is.— begged Mila.
No! I don’t want to go back to our old life again. I can’t stand working at times when I could be having fun. How can they call the work fun if every day is the same thing? It’s hunting, food and sleeping day!― complained Fernando.
After many searches for long days and nights everywhere on the map, the four travellers were already exhausted and close to giving up the search for what they most desired, freedom, when they were surprised by a strange golden glow that blinded the eyes of the four for a few seconds. It was Mathôrn, the tree of the legend that everyone knew.
Am I seeing things or is that the tree of history that our grandparents told them to have seen one day?― asked Keila feeling blind.
No, we’re all seeing the tree. It looks huge!― said Fernando.
Caio realized that there was something familiar about that tree. He looked at the map and then at the tree and consulted the map again.― That’s it!― was surprised, Gaius.
That’s what?― asked Keila confused.
The entrance to the treasure. That tree is the entrance to the treasure we seek.— Gaius replied all confident and content.
The four walked slowly to the tree and searched for a breach, some hole or door that could be the entrance to Zanbaengio temple.
I believe I found it!― called Mila.
When they entered to begin the treasure hunt, the entrance closed and the four were trapped. Everything was dark and difficult to see, but Gaius always had the solution for situations like that. He took a special plant he had in his seed necklace and lit the way by squeezing the plant that dripped a liquid goo that glowed in the dark.
Later they had seven different caves and each would lead to a path that may or may not be a trap.
How about each one enter one and as soon as someone finds the treasure, call for the others?― proposed Fernando.
I think it’s too risky to separate now. What if we fall into a trap, all of us and never find our way out again?— Mila was amazed.
Stop being fearful!!” complained Gaius.
As a final decision, the four decided to go through the same entrance and walked for hours not knowing whether or not they were near the treasure. Fernando and Mila were almost giving up when Keila spoke out.
I think I found something!― cried Keila waving to others.
The previous scenario was no longer important to what they saw afterwards. The dark is gone and natural light illuminated the whole new environment. There were five huge rocks that resembled the mountains and in the centre of an empty altar.
On each rock was a mystical artefact that represented one of the five elements of nature, connected to keep the seal of protection safe. The seal was what prevented the four knights from Qimugsi, Hunger, Plague, War and Death from leaving.
So that’s it? I thought it was a source of desire that could make our dreams come true.― grumbled Mila.
according to history, all we need to do is find the treasure and stay with it as a lucky charm to fulfil all our desires.— Keila commented.
So, let’s go!―Insisted Gaius.
The four arrived at the centre of Zanbaengio Temple where the rocks appeared to be even taller than by far and in each, there was a hole that hid the mystical artefacts. Gaius approached the rock that guarded the Liadi, a mystical artefact from the air, and stuck his hand in the hole. When he stuck his hand in the hole, he felt a slight shock that made him even more curious.
Fernando, Mila and Keila only watched Caio find out what might happen if they did the same thing, and Gaius continued to stick his hand down the hole to pick up the mystical artefact.
The Kadeas’ insatiable hunger for a better life resulted in a huge tragedy for the mistake Gaius and his friends made in trying to steal Earth’s gifts.
The entire maze of the Zanbaengio Temple began to shake hard and several cracks were forming on the ground and on the walls demolishing the entire labyrinth like an avalanche, and from the cracks came out a black and sticky mucus in the color of coal that was slowly approaching near the four Kadeas.
“What is that?―amazed Mila as he noticed the strange mucus going towards them.
The seal that held corruption was broken and the Knights of Qimugsi left the Infinite where they were imprisoned for the good of those who lived in peace on Earth.
Thank you for letting us go. Now we will return the favor to you.— said the Plague possessing the Gaius.
Hunger, War and Death also possessed the bodies of Mila, Ferdinand and Keila and went out demolishing everything they saw ahead.
The Kadeas all over Namize were corrupted, fought violently with blood on all sides, and became the Shadow army. And so the curse of human devastation was born, an incurable disease for the living.
For the safety of Mathôrn and mystical artifacts, Namize divided her organs into pieces that formed new islands. In only five of them could be found the artifacts that represented the elements of nature.
Mathôrn had no choice but to hide from the Shadows that had destroyed all the good she did with her madna as a gift to Earth.
The five elements of nature also became unbalanced and began to destroy everything with the fury that the Kadeas awakened from nature.
The miwas flooded all the passages between one island and another, the kalawis helped the miwas calm down after all the work and so came the Andaika. The mountains gathered in groups and were filled with much diguqi and huohi, so the Huozanis emerged.
In the abyss of the Earth was Mathôrn frozen with fear, just waiting for some sign of life to keep him company again. The abyss was a very dark, cold and scary place where no life was able to survive for long. But Mathôrn was different and fed on the madnas who once lived as living beings of the Earth.
The shadows ruled the whole earth for years until the end of all life that existed. The Kadeas were extinct, the earth’s appearance changed, the vibrations of the Universe were distorted, and Mathôrn was imprisoned for five thousand years in diguqi without being able to leave hiding. Fortunately she heard a strange voice that warned her about a prophecy.
“Be careful what you see, watch what you say. A great qimugsi will arise and this world will no longer be happy. Only the Chosen One will be able to stop the threat that will generate roots of hatred and disorder in the hearts of the victims. The Chosen One will have the mission to save all lives from hatred, resentment, envy, terror, fear or any other feeling that causes the imbalance of the worlds. But don’t be hasty, you will meet the Chosen One and under her care, you must stay. Blessed be Chosen One to save this world from Qimugsi.”
