A New book to read.
"I found this book and read it in marathon time. A few grammar mistakes but that is easily fixed.. The characters are well developed. The plot a bit twisted, which is a plus for me. Looking forward to reading other books by this author."
The "Hello, nice to meet you" review
"What is not to like in an origin story? You get the same feeling as the first time you say hello to someone new. But unlike when meeting someone new, I can guarantee you that you will like "meeting" this book and saying hello for the first time to its characters. And you can trust me because I am acquainted with this author's work, Even for this book I read parts of it twice: prior and after some revisions and I can say it only gets better. From the beggining, you get a clear insight into the premise of the story - the world of gods who set everything into motion and a nice reference to Egyptian mythology. Then you get to know a little girl from a big and dangerous world, who Fate decided to test and mould into becoming something much more than the little girl, or the reader, ever expected. Then you will get to meet a "love to hate" villain but beware, sometimes, with the insight you will get into his thoughts, you might even become sympathetic to his cause. Luckily, then come his actions and that shakes out the reader from straying on the erroneous path. All this rollercoaster of emotions is made possible with the author's skilful story crafting. Beware of the age rating - some brutal and hard to swallow events are depicted - everything is done in a tasteful literary fashion. Are there things to improve, grammar to polish and plot to iron out? Sure. Like it happens with every labour of passion. But you will find behind this book the passion and will to create one of the best and memorable vampire stories out there. And the funny thing is because it is a labour of passion, the author might feel it still needs some work even when it will be close to perfection."
An enticing story
"The story is very intriguing. There is a great deal of world-building as far as I can tell. The characters are well-written and believable. From what I've read (I'm still reading the story) I noticed some grammar mistakes that I can easily be fixed with a round of editing. Other than that the author has a great grasp of the story and the settings. Great job! Keep going!"
Why I am not a Human
"Tags : (Work in Progress) Pros : This book in the series is part of the origin story of the Vampire Goddess. We have a number of well defined characters, a truly disciple and hated villain. I give the author props making somebody I truly despite. A number of side characters are fleshed out and provide good support for our heroines motivations. Cons : The story is a bit dark. Overall : The setting is nice, you can see and feel where the author takes you. The hate, the attraction and the vengeance. In the overall arc within the series provides a good foundation support.😎 Note: Oh I would not want to be a human in ANY vampire series, they have a tendency to get eaten.. :)"
