Hi Orlaith Hunt,
I just finished reading your story "Always the Bad Girl" and I loved it so much. Your writing is amazing, and I kept thinking how cool it would look as a comic.
I really loved the bar/warehouse brawl scene in the final chapter, the way Leah throws herself into a no-holds-barred fight (sometimes literally for money) is raw and cinematic. It’s perfect for a comic because the action would read incredibly well in dynamic panels: dramatic close-ups on fists, staggered panel timing for impact, and wide splash pages to sell the chaos and grit.
I also loved the confrontation where West Mount’s Golden Boy uncovers Leah’s secret and she’s forced to scramble to protect herself. That quiet-but-electrified moment, when her tough exterior cracks and emotional stakes spike, would be ideal for manga-style pacing: tight character close-ups, silent panels for tension, and a slow reveal that would hook readers visually.
I’m a commissioned artist, and I’d love to draw your story into a comic/manga. No pressure though, I just think your work would look awesome in comic form.
