gone girl

"I cried every time I read the chapters I felt so sorry for her. James, Olivia and Alex I cannot stand. James should be in prison for selling his drugs as well as the lot of them. I hope in the 2nd book she is able to open up to Derek and they continue their love and relationship and get the hell out of that town for good so they can work on themselves like they were starting to do. I hope you make their relationship work for life. They have struggled so much and deserve each other. they need new lives."

Go on, Girl

"Veronica Reeves isn’t sure what started her down the slippery slope of addictions. Sure, she’s an adopted child, but her adoptive family is very loving towards her (if perhaps a little lax on supervision.) Then there’s her best friend Nicole. Ronnie sees how Nicole falls apart over the betrayal of a former boyfriend. “That will never be me!” she assures herself. Yet there is something deep within her that remains unsatisfied. She can cover up that need now with alcohol and sex. But Ronnie knows that eventually the consequences actions will catch up with her. And she wonders what will happen if there is no one there to rescue her when she eventually falls. An interesting story about the seductive powers of anti-authoritative reasoning. Veronica is charming and a little naive in the way she assumes she can control all actions that occur to her in life. You don’t want to see her life choices destroy her. So far I’m on chapter five and things haven’t gotten to bad for her yet. I’m assuming the potential love interest Derek will be there to support Ronnie when she’s ready to admit she needs it. An interesting read. "

Emotional

"Disclaimer: I’m keeping specifics out of the review because I don’t want anyone reading to be triggered. Gone Girl is an emotional story that shows what trauma does to a person physically and mentally. The way Veronica responds to her trauma is realistic and heartbreaking. The author is talented at describing emotion in a way that makes the reader feel it along with the characters. One tiny tip - maybe bold the words indicating that there was a time lapse (e.g., “the next day”). It blended in with the other text, so I think holding or doing a section break would help with clarity. "

Gone girl

"I loved reading your book it kept me absorbed and I am so sorry that I couldn't review your book earlier since I was quite busy on the weekend and also I just felt like reading your book will the end. Alright, there was no grammatical error in your writing as far as I read but a few punctuations were missing. But I think you can sort that out while you are editing. And I think if you can slow your pace a bit it would be great it is just my point of view. But overall your story was something that I loved reading. Anyway if you could give me a follow then I will follow you back. If you are interested. Also best of luck in your writing."

A Passionate Start

"The writer cares about her characters, no question; and the story to be told is compelling and important. It was unfortunately difficult for me to get into as I found the writing itself a bit rough. The words are spelled properly, the dialogue and characterization is there but...there were enough missing words, enough skipped punctuation, that every other sentence popped me out of the narrative I was trying to get into. But the raw talent is unmistakable - the crafting part can be learned. Please keep writing!"
