When asked if i love you i always say yes
They asked me if i loved you,
and it hardly took a second before i answered,
a yes so certain it almost shocked me,
i don't know why though,
maybe it's because although i talk about you,
telling everyone how great you are,
i hardly feel the need to tell them i love you,
and maybe that's because i thought it was obvious,
or maybe it's because there was still some part of me
scared to admit it.
They asked me if i loved you,
and i didn't hesitate,
my answer the most certain i've ever been about anything,
and they asked me how i knew,
a smile crossed my face,
before i told them
without you,
nothing makes sense.
