Chapter 1
“Jenica, come out I am at your house” I said before dropping my phone and continuing tapping on the steering wheel while following the rhythm of the music.
After a couple of minutes I saw Jenica, coming out all dressed up.
“Where are you going, you are all dressed up?” I chuckled.
“I am going to a party with Danna, after I am done with you” she said.
I raised an eyebrow “After you are done with me?”
“Yeah, after I am done with you.” She giggled while putting on her sit belt.
I giggle too. “Anyway, how is your relationship with Felix working out?” I questioned her, turning my head and checking my mirrors before reversing back and driving out of the parking lot and onto the road.
Looking through her purse, she replied. “Everything is going smoothly, and we are actually going on a date tomorrow. I can just Imagine what he is planning” she giggles.
“Forget about me, what about you? Have you found someone for prom?” she lifted up her head from her purse to look at me.
I took a quick glance at her and replied, “No, I haven’t. I am hoping that I find one before prom”
“Don’t stress about it, everything will be alright.” she says in an understanding tone. “you know it took me a while to find Felix, right?”
“Yeah, I know, How could I forget.” I had a smirk on my face as I said that, “I remember after your break up, you come to me and cry your heart out, and then the next day you will say “He was not my type anyway.”
“Shhh, don’t tell anyone I did that, or else--”
I laughed, “Or else what?”
“or else you will not be my friend again and you will never find a boyfriend” she pouted.
“oh come one!! don’t act like a baby because that won’t work for me” I said.
“I knew that wouldn’t work on you, you are as stiff as a brick wall.” she was making fun of me and how could I let that go.
“yeah, says the person that comes to me and cries after a break up.” I fired back.
“ouch!! Iris take it easy, it was a joke” she said pretending to have been hurt
“Yeah, right,” I said, taking a look in my mirror once in a while and during that time I saw the same black van following us.
“Hey, Jenica, that black van keeps following us” I told her because I have not been in this situation and I don’t know what to do.
“What? The black van behind us?”
“yeah, that one” I answered her question. “what do I do”
“Just keep going, maybe we could shake them off”
We both look back at the van but by the time we turned back our head we saw another black van coming right at us. It was clearly on the wrong lane and heading our way.
we both screamed, “Haaaaa--- ”
screech!!!
