Prologue

In 2005 the LGBTQ+ streaming network Here TV premiered Dante’s Cove, it was a first of its kind original show that was a cross between Dark Shadows with all of its paranormal storylines and shows related to young people in the modern era. Unfortunately, due to a lack of good ratings, the show ended after three seasons. However, I have made a continuation of my own creation.

Along the California coast hidden away was the small town of Dante’s Cove full of rich history. The stories of what happened there became explained away as a crazy form of mass hysteria. Fires. People attacking each other. Fortunately, over time the story faded into mostly rumor and hearsay but for those in the know knew it was definitely a supernatural armageddon that was prevented at the eleventh hour.

Through everyone’s efforts and the powers of Grace Neville and Ambrosius Vallin, witches of the ancient Wicca like religion Tresum fought against the demon spirit only known as from the House of Shadows. It was defeated trapping the evil forever locked away in a prison box for safe keeping. However, it wasn’t without its losses.

Amongst the losses were Toby, a young bartender who had worked at the local club H2eau, and his new boyfriend Adam. It left his ex, Kevin Archer beside himself but Ambrosius was there to pick up the pieces. Ambrosius had always believed he was destined to be with him and not just as somebody he could use at the Tresum Solstice to drain his strength in order to control the powers of time.

Once Kevin and Ambrosius together with Grace and her new consort, Griff of the Tresum council of witches made the decision to leave Dante’s Cove, they hoped that the change of scenery would help them move on. The only thing that was left behind was an old mirror that if you looked closely enough you could see Toby and Adam begging for help to be freed after having been sucked into a dark netherworld by the shadows.
