Gifted we were blamelessly;

With something pure and nascent,

To be and love shamelessly,

A promise to be patient.

To hold you close forgetting,

A fire lit aeons ago,

All others left regretting,

In our hearts remains to glow.

Look upon this glowering,

It doesn’t change our fated,

Upon the moors flowering,

Not given away, gifted.
