Introduction
Silvia was at home. Alone. Again. Her father was out “working” but she knew that he was actually fighting…
“I wish I could join him… it’s not like I’m helpless!” she grumbles to her best friend Serena over the phone as she makes herself a bowl of ice cream.
“I know! It’s really not fair that you have to stay home alone while he goes out and fights!” Serena says. Serena and Silvia had been friends since kindergarten and Silvia told Serena everything.
“It’s just so frustrating!” Silvia slams the door to the freezer after putting the ice cream carton away. “I’ve known how to fight almost since I could walk! He knows I can take care of myself if I get in a fight! AND he’s gotten me a suit already! I mean come on!”
“Silvia, calm down, I’m sure that if he’s gotten you a suit, he’ll let you join him soon.”
“Calm down!? Serena, I’m done just sitting back and doing nothing when I know he’s out there fighting!” she nearly yells as she slams the drawer of silverware closed with a clatter and a bang then she grabs her bowl of ice cream and takes it upstairs, stopping in front of a seemingly normal stretch of wall in the hall. “I’m gonna go out. I don’t care what he says about it being dangerous. I can’t just sit back and let him fight alone anymore…” She takes a bite of her ice cream.
“Is that really a good idea Sil? What if you get hurt?”
“Ser, I’ll be fine” She shovels the rest of her ice cream into her mouth then sets her bowl down and walks over and places her palm on the wall and feels around a little, searching for the hidden button that she knows is there. “Besides, the suit is made with silver thread sewn in so it’s harder to penetrate and the shield is made of the same stuff as my dad’s”
Serena sighs over the phone “Fine Sil.. I’ll let you go this time but please, be safe”
“I will be Ser, I promise” She grins as she finds the button she’s looking for and pressed it, making a secret door open and reveal a room with two boxes, one that’s empty and one that has a Captain America suit in it. “I’ll call you when I get home, okay?” Silvia asks as she opens the box with the suit in it.
“You better Sil, I’ll talk to you later”
“Talk later Ser” takes her phone and hangs up then pulls the suit out and changes into it, the mask being like a masquerade mask just less frivolous and more simple and the shield being made of the same material as her father’s but a different shape.
Silvia looks down at herself and whoops in excitement as she sees the skintight suit on herself “I look so amazing!”
She grabs the shield and her sword, in it’s smaller form, and heads out of the house, heading out to find her father.
"Please don't be dead, Dad" she says as she runs out the door.
