Prologue

"KILL THEM! KILL THEM ALL!" The booming voice startled everyone awake. In a matter of seconds, everything was in chaos. Burning houses, blood everywhere, women screaming, men letting out battle cries as they fought for their people's lives, children crying and screaming.

As chaos erupted around him, he couldn't help but stand there and listen to all the music around him. The sound of blood being splattered on the walls, as if they were painting a masterpiece, the sounds of people begging for their lives, the sound of children screaming, crying and begging, babies being torn from their mothers and being killed in front of them as mothers let out a heartbroken screams and people begging for them to kill themselves, thinking they have nothing left to live for.

But as he was listening to his music, little did he know that his enemies were escaping, trying to get their baby to a safe haven. She was sleeping in peace, no-one disturbing her. The distant sound of screaming was heard, making their hearts break. They knew they will have to go back and fight. Eventually.

"Quickly, we need to get her to the mortal realm and deliver her somewhere. She will be safest there, as he will not find her there." Her father said. They neared the portal, a purple mist, leading to another forest on the other side. They jumped through the purple mist, and the smell of pine trees surrounded them, and they felt relieved. They ran through the forest, the wind whipping past their faces, the smell of the pine trees refreshing. In seconds, they made it to a small village houses aligned perfectly, and they looked like small cottages. Very homey.

They ran to nearest house, and placed their baby on the porch, as they cried silently, bidding their baby goodbye. She opened her eyes, and they were violet, with a blue ring around her irises, the royal bloodline eyes. "Gah, ma-ma, da-da." She squealed. "Shhhh, remember us, my dear daughter." The mother whispered, tears in her eyes. She kissed her forehead, and whispered her favourite song.

In the night

The love shines bright, in your eyes

It's you and I against the world

And i won't let you go

I'll love until the end of time

Until the end of....my....lifetime.

By the end of the song, the mother had blotchy eyes, and a runny nose, as her baby was sleeping soundly. The father was standing next to the portal, guarding it, while he prayed to the lord above to keep his baby safe, even if it meant they couldn't do it.

"Aspero, Des Curame." She whispered in fae. (Goodbye, my baby).

She knocked on the door, and used her speed to run to the portal, hiding behind the trees, as she watched a woman open the door. A gasp sounded from the lady's mouth, as she looked down she looked down at her baby. "Queena fio wakera peko sue papera." (May the lord keep you safe.) She whispered as her voice cracked.

The mother grabbed hold of her hudsband's hand, and ran through the portal. They made it to the war scene, and they kissed, passionately. "Sero sue karema Des Quera." (See you there, My Queen.) He whispered when they pulled away. She nodded, tears in her eyes. "Sero sue karema Des Kenjo." (See you there, My King.) She whispered back. After one last searing kiss, they ran off to fight, their whispered promises of living a thousand years forgotten, as they fought for their kingdom.
