Past (back to the 90's)

The inseparable friends.

That’s what they were, Jean and Andrew.

Nothing could break them apart, not even the worst things.

They were the best childhood friends ever. They shared everything together, even their house, since both were orphans and were looked after a nice old woman.

Andrew was more outgoing, extroverted and a back bencher, while Jean was shy, introverted and the topper. But that never affected their friendship.

They were non biological brothers.

Andrew initially wanted to be a police officer when he grew up, and Jean, a lawyer. They promised to work together, by Andrew arresting a criminal, whom Jean will debate against.

But their plan was ruined when Andrew failed in almost every subjects, and Jean won everything. Andrew wasn’t jealous of him in any way, and Jean never found Andrew inferior to him.

What caused the problems between them is their jobs.

Both worked on the opposite sides of the law. The exact opposite.

Jean got a job according to his studies and personality, and Andrew according to his studies, which changed his personality.

He joined the mafia. But there was one thing about him - he killed only the criminals, the people who did injustice to others. So Jean and Andrew were still friends, though Jean didn’t like Andrew’s job. He tried to compel Andrew, but that was the only thing that Andrew didn’t agree with Jean.

Their friendship lasted some more years until something..or rather someone entered both their lives...

Ruining their friendship forever and not even giving them a chance to say goodbye to each other.
