"Wake up, it is time.”

“Wake up, something’s coming. . .”

”Wake up, Jaskier!” A voice shook her from a deep sleep, shooting up from her pillow looking around her shaded bedroom. Scratching her head, she flung the covers off slipping out of bed. Pale pink hair glistened in the moonlight, steadily walked to the open window she looked around. The large oak trees, surrounding her cabin, it was only half through midnight. She heard the hurridly steps arriving at her door, her father barged in, "The Captial is under attack,” reaching out for her hand he spoke. “Come to, my child, you must flee with your brother.” Jaskier followed her father’s long stride till outside, watching him shout for all soldiers to the battlefronts on all sides.

Noticing her mother commanding groups of soldiers, she never wore her skeleton armor, it is her strongest of all. “Who is coming?” Jaskier demanded to find out, all her father did was look back continuing to shout commands. “Get the children to the caverns!” he yelled before turning to face her, Jaskier stumbled to a halt looking at her father. “Children of the night.” her body frozen, finally managing to croak out a reply “We have a treaty, they cannot break it unless we face the-” “This is war! Capital: Forerein(For-rein) has called a surge, the mundane kingdom has found dark magic and created a newborn of their own.

“The child has grown into a demon, a monster of creation, it is not natural of the earth. This boy, the closest to a ghoul who rises after death? He controls corpses of our fallen.” he rose his voice at her almost fearful of the future. Jaskier gulped looking around at the fronts, “The fae kind must fight back, we fight in our land, as Fae Kin!” Jaskier shouted at him. “They’re here!” a woman shouted running inside the main building. The sounds of drums, alerting the enemy has arrived, they cannot be seen in the dead of night. Launching themselves from the branches the children of the night arrived breaching the lines of defense posted around the Faerie Captial. “You must run! Find your brother!” he commanded his daughter whilst unsheathing his sword, the Fae and Vampires have been at peace once since the treaty deeming them as allies, what had happened in Capital: Pecgin(Peck-gin)? Jaskier saw her brother jumping on a glider, treading faster till he jumped in the air circling the dark skies awaiting her.

Taking a deep breath her blood warmed as did her connection to the earth beneath her shoes. Kneeling to the ground, her irises shimmered green hearing her ability call out inside her. Roots rose from the earth thrashing around her, targeting the intruders of her homeland. Her sibling, Tohmas held out his hand barreling down to the clash of battle. Jaskier saw him, shakily stood up in the center of the battlefield, raising her hand high awaiting him to grab her from heartly land. Her right hand clenched tightly. Swooping down her brother caught her hand, Jaskier watched her feet leave her homeland, now in the sky far from earth. For only gliding takes you so far with just catching air. The brother hoisted her up on the platform as she took control, “Hold the reins sister.” he relaxed his muscles as oxygen flowed through him. He swayed along with the wind till he struck his hands out in front, the younger sibling looked behind seeing his skin shine from the use of magic. Tohmas boosted them with a constant gust of wind, enough to reach the end of their Captial grounds, Jinhel(Gin-hell).

“Father told me to travel to Captial: Forerein.” Tohmas turned around only using one hand to command the wind tides. Staring at her as if she were dumb, he spoke “Why would we go to the capital of the continent to which is sending our own mystical kin against us,” his voice wavered only for a second, and Jaskier heard the quiet quiver. “I’m oldest and it is my say.” Tohmas regained himself turning his back to Jaskier’s. “If you say so,” Jaskier let go of the reins stepping to the edge. “I’ll just, jump.” she turned to face her brother who stumbled on the small deck, while the glider itself struggled to fly with no pilot. “You must have a death wish, you idiot!” Tohmas shouted at his sister grabbing the reins with one hand. Jaskier turned her back to the edge, now facing her older brother. “Fae kin, once flew eras ago; for let’s learn to fly again.” reciting Jinhel Articles last chapter she stepped off the gilder falling down to the redwood forest. "You're crazy, Jaskier!"

Tohmas screamed her name jumping off the gilder using his master element to dive after her. The voices grew louder as she grew closer to the ground. Jaskier closed her eyes taking a deep breath, she tilted her body so she’d land on her feet. Unleashing a sprout to grow meeting her to the ground. It thrashed upwards as it expanded into a large silk seed flower. Tohmas yelled falling down, seeing the flower bloom a hundred times its size, his sister landing on one of its many petals. He yelped falling in the center of the silk flower where pollen is kept, he now was covered in pollen dust. Looking up he glimpsed his sister’s wings. “The fae will thrive again. We can fly but till we can,” raising her hand to the starry sky her wings fluttered relaxing on her back shimmering wings leaving petals at her feet with every flutter. Her brother stood up dusting himself off, the last verse in Jinhel Articles: “First we must run, second we leap.”
