Life Is Not Always What We Think It Is (Antony Ray Hinton). This quote supports the story below…

Niswardh lived in the Eastern part of India, he lived with his grandparents and his little sister. Niswardh was an atheist but believed the essence of goodness. Years passed by, Niswardh and his sister had their hard times. Both the siblings did not give up, they overthrew their challenges. Some years later, there was a stability in their routine.

One fine day, they decided to have a walk in the woods. They wanted to recall the memories they of their grandparents in the forest. Niswardh and his sister were ready for their walk. While the journey, they came across many people. After a long walk they were in the forest. Niswardh observed an old lady following them. He immediately went to the lady and asked why she was following them, she said she wasn’t following them, but they were following her. Niswardh was wonderstruck, he thought she was mad, meanwhile Niswardh’s sister asked the old lady to accompany them. Niswardh did not like the idea but remained silent.

As his sister was kind-hearted, the old lady came along. While the journey, Niswardh noticed that the little birds and fellow creatures were with her. He felt it was common in the forest so, left it. They came near a gigantic tree, the old lady stated that it nearly had above two hundred years of age and it’s a house for many birds. Niswardh felt interested about the tree. Niswardh couldn’t hold his curiosity and asked where she was taking them, she replied that he will soon know. There was a silence. As going denser, both the sibling felt anxious, but did not care as the old lady there. Niswardh had seen many incidents that made him astonished, he felt something unusual.

After a while, the old lady said they were near to the place. Niswardh slowly felt extremely happy with the presence of the old lady, he himself didn’t know the reason. They were almost to the spot, Niswardh’s sister went to the the spot which had the full view of the forest, the lady turned towards Niswardh and said “My dear child, it’s your time, do not waste your time thinking about the presence of the ultimate. The place I am showing you is not far from the forest, I just made you walk from the dense forest. Do you know why, the bliss you felt by seeing the fellow creatures and the presence was a phenomenon that does not exist anywhere else. My child, faith and righteousness give you the real bliss. Hope you understood words, if not analyse my words…” Niswardh was about it reply but the old lady had already gone.

Niswardh sat beside the tree and started thinking about what old lady’s conversation. After pondering for an hour, he realized the essence of the message.
