Interview day
Paige pov
Today I woke up getting ready for my interview this afternoon.
As I was walking downstairs in to go to the kitchen to make breakfast I met my best friend Sage.
“ Hey Paige where are you going,” she said. “I’m going downstairs to make some breakfast.”
“ OK I’ll meet you downstairs soon,” she said.
After that, I went downstairs and went to the kitchen.
I open the fridge and took out eggs, sausage, and some juice.
Went to the pantry and took out the flour, baking powder, and baking soda.
I went to the cabinet and took out two bowls. I mix the dry ingredients in one and the wet in the other.
I gradually mix in the wet with the dry. After that I let it set for 5-10 minutes.
While waiting for it to set I fried the eggs and sausages. Then I place it on another pan for the pancakes.
When the pan was hot enough I place a little oil in it.
Then started to place it in the batter to cook it.
After all, the batter was done me and Saige ate.
“ So your interview is today right,” she asked. “ Yes, it is,” I said. “Well, then good luck on it,” she said.
After that, I got up and went to my room and took a shower, and changed into my clothes.
After that, I called a Uber and it said it would be here in 2 minutes, so I got out of my room and down the stairs.
I went outside to see them waiting, so I got in and he drove off.
The drive was long and quiet, but I liked it.
After 20 minutes we were in front of the Russo Empire.
I got out and went inside the building. They were a lot of people here today for the interview.
I was greeted by a receptionist and she said “ Are you here for the interview.”
“ Yes I am,” I said. “ Okay then follow me,” she said.
So I followed her and she said “ Take a seat here and wait for your turn.
With that, she left.
I checked my phone and it was 8:30.
A couple of hours later it was my turn. When I got in I saw a handsome man sitting down looking through some paper.
He had brown hair and some tattoos on him. When he looked at me I saw his blue eyes which were like the sea- okay stop thinking about you may be your future boss and calm down.
I took a seat in front of him and we started the meeting.
When the meeting was down I walked out and back to where the receptionist was at.
I took my phone out and called a Uber. It said it would be here in 15 minutes.
Know I was outside waiting for my ride to come for me.
Standing for a while someone bumped into me and I said “ Sorry.” Why did I say sorry?
“ Why are you saying sorry for I’m supposed to say up that,” Mr. Russo said.
“ Aren’t you Miss Samuel from the interview?” “ Yes, that is me,” I said.
“ Who are you waiting for,” he asked. “ Ahh and my ride.”
“ Okay then, but make sure you’re here for work early tomorrow morning” when he said that I got so excited I hugged him until I heard a cough.
With that I let him go and he left. After he left my Uber came I went inside and we left for my destination.
After 25 minutes I got home, because of traffic.
I took my keys out and unlocked the door.
I got inside to see Saige watching 365 on Netflix.
“ Hey Saige,” I said. “ Hey Paige,” she said.
“ Ohh how was the interview,” she asked. “ It went okay,” I said with a sad tone. “ What happen,” she asked in a worried tone.
“ Nothing much just……..” I paused for a moment and then said “ I GOT THE JOB!”
I shouted, then she jumped up and hugged me.
She said, “ You scared me a while ago, but I'm so happy for you.”
“ I know I could tell, but look at you know so happy for me. Your the best” I said.
With that, I sat on the couch to relax for a bit.
After 5 minutes I said, “ Well I have to get ready for work tomorrow so I’m going to bed now.”
“ Okay, sweet dreams,” she said. Then I walked up to my room and took a shower to wash off all this sweat.
After my shower, I got out and place on my pj's. I checked my phone for the time and it was 8:30 p.m. already.
I put my phone to charge and went to bed.
