The Luna That Became A Vampire

LUZ POV

My name is Luz Elena Florez De La Vega but everybody calls me Luz Florez, De La Vega was my mother’s last name she passed away during a rouge attack shortly after we moved to The Red Moon Pack. My mother and I were coming home from going to the pack house were Luna Jaqueline had invited us to spend the day with her to prepare for the upcoming celebration of the Alphas birthday. My father and brother started to take their anger out on me since that day, I was just six years old when it happen, my father soon after became the beta of the pack when the previous beta was killed during another rouge attack. That day my life became even worse getting hit by both my father and brother while telling me that I was worthless and that I was weak, little did they know that I had shifted at the young age of twelve in to a beautiful silver wolf which is rear in the werewolf community. The only one who knew was my childhood friend Alexander Valentine who is a vampire, he was like my second brother always protecting me from whatever or whoever did me any harm.

Alexander doesn’t know how my father and brother are treating me but he has always said that when ever I wanted to leave this place just to call him and he would come and take me away from this place, I sometimes wish that he would just come and take me away from my father and brother. I got up this morning feeling strange like something was going to happen but I didn’t know what, I went into the kitchen and started making breakfast for my father and brother before I head to the pack house and help the Luna with whatever she needed me to do for her. Once I finished I went back to my room and took a quick shower and then changed into a long sleeve black jumpsuit and my black knee high boots before leaving the house, I was walking to the pack house when I saw three black SUV’S parked outside the pack house and it caught my attention because Luna didn’t tell me that we were going to have visitors today.

I walked in to the pack house and went up to the Alpha’s office and knocked three times this way the Alpha and Luna knew it was me, when I was told to come in I was surprised to see my childhood friend Alexander. I ran into his open arms and he picked me up spinning me around before letting me down on to my feet, I looked behind him to see his father Edward who also had his arms open for me and I accepted his hug as well. By the time I was able to react I had tears in my eyes, although they were happy tears I could tell that Alexander and Edward were smelling the blood on my skin even though the Alpha and Luna couldn’t they could since they were vampires.

“Why do you smell like blood Luz” Edward asked with a concerned face

“Oh it’s nothing Edward I just scrapped myself when I was out for a run last night” I said

“Let us see sweetie” Luna said

“No it’s okay it’s nothing bad I’m okay” I said

“Luz I know you and I know you are not telling us the truth, what’s going on” Alex said

I looked down and was about to walk away when Alex grabbed me by the arm making hiss because he had gotten a hold of me where my brother had dragged a knife while saying that mom was dead because of me and that he hated me, Alex lifted up my sleeve showing the cut I had. They all looked at my arm the Alpha and Luna let an angry growl out while Alex and Edward had angry faces on as their eyes became crimson red, I backed away afraid of what they would do. Alex pulled me into a tight hug which again made me hiss because of the pain I was feeling from my back, he turned me around and lowered the back of my jumpsuit and everybody saw the whip slashes my father had given me two days ago because he had a bad day at the pack house.

“Who did this to you Luz” alpha asked

“I can’t say Alpha if I do it will be worse” I said

“I promise you that no one will find out you told us” Luna said

“I’m afraid they will find out” I said

“They are you telling us the more than one person is doing this to you” Alex asked

“Yes” I answered

“Tell us who is doing this to you Luz we will protect you from them” Alpha said

“My father and brother are the ones that have been doing this to me since my mother died” I said while tears streamed down my face

“Why do they do that sweetie” Luna asked

“They blame me for my mother’s death” I said

“So they have been doing this for almost eleven years” Alex asked

“Yes” I said

After talking to them for a few more hours the Alpha and Luna decided that I move into the pack house with them, they send some pack members to my house and get my belongings while they showed me my new room which was on their floor of the pack house, Alex stayed with me for a while longer until the pack member brought my stuff and started to help me put everything away. Once we finished we were told that dinner would be ready in ten minutes, Alex and I were laying down on my bed while I had my head on his chest and he had his arms around my waist while we watched Twilight. Yeah, yeah I know what your thinking but we love this movie since we were little, Alex’s mom and my mom always said that we were crazy for watching this movie but we would just laugh and continue watching the movie like there was no tomorrow.
