Prologue

To be honest I’m still not completely sure how I ended up in this situation. Today started the same way every Wednesday . . . well ever started. I woke up consumed an unhealthy amount of coffee, then dragged my tired ass to school and slept through all my morning classes. Next thing I know I’m being thrown through the fucking hallway. Now you may be wondering who the hell would have balls big enough to throw me. To be honest I blacked out. One second I was sitting in math the next I’m drenched in bodily fluids holding someone’s ripped-out heart.

“Mr. Michaelis this is hardly an appropriate summary of events.” The cop across from me stopped writing and looked up at me, stopping me mid-rant.

“Well, you asked for my point of view.” I shrugged slumping back in the hard metal chair legs spread in what I’ve been told is a delinquent’s way of sitting. The cop cast me a disgruntled look. I smiled and leaned forward until my chin was almost resting on his desk. “Besides is all this really necessary?” I held up my cuffed hands rattling them together.

“Handcuffs are protocol for any criminal we bring into the station, Mr.Michaelis.”

“Let’s be honest sir, the cuffs, the blessed silver chair, and holy water on your desk.” I smirked, “don’t tell me your nervous.” The cop stiffened his whole body going ridged. His eyes darted to the Captain in the corner then back to me. He awkwardly cleared his throat placing his pen down on his desk.

“Mr. Michaelis -”

“Oh please were old friends just call me Caspian.” The cop sighed running his hand through his hair.

“Mr. Michaelis, is this your finalized statement on the events that occurred earlier today?” I nodded. “Very well please wait here while I finalize everything.” Unashamed I oggled the cop's ass as he walked away.

“You know that counts as public harassment.” I turned to look at the owner of the sexy British voice that had interrupted my staring. Standing behind me was maybe one of the most attractive people I’ve ever seen. He has a small slender face framed by his long hair, full pouty pink lips, and large blue doll-like eyes. His skin was perfect and pale giving the illusion he was made from porcelain. His arms were crossed elegantly across his chest dressed in dress pants and a crisp pressed white button-down shirt. My smile widened as I took my time looking him up and down causing him to cock a perfect brow.

“Did you not hear what I just said?”

“No, I heard,” I responded dismissively eyes focusing in on his crotch.

“Bloody hell didn’t your parents teach you any manners.” He hissed at me blue eyes glowing.

“Not really, but they did tell me to admire nice things,” I smirked at his flustered face. His mouth opened and closed a few times no sound came out.

“I see you’ve met Mr.Lewis .” Both of us turn to face the voice. The chief stopped at the desk flopping down to sit across from me, the cop from before standing next to him.

“I most certainly have.” I heard Lewis snort behind me causing my smirk to widen.

“Very good, I suppose I should make formal introductions. Mr.Michaelis meet Mr. Lewis your new roommate.”

“Right, ri- roommate?”
