Summary

"Little Lemon, why so sour?" He mumbles as he grabs my hips gently but firmly to keep me in place. "Let me at her! I swear I'm going to rearrange her face to match that bitch attitude of hers! You hear me! So much as even look at him again and I'll fuck you up!" I yell, at the blonde bimbo a few feet away, struggling to get out of his grip to beat the bitch up. "Little Lemon, look at me." I hear him faintly ask, but I ignore him as I flail in his grip, glaring daggers at the girl who's walking away quickly. "Run bitch! I'll find you!" I yell, lunging one more time in his grasp only for him to yank me back with great force. My face is suddenly grabbed and forcefully turned towards him, his eyes filled with anger and hooded with something I couldn't identify. "Stop." He simply says, and as we lock eyes my whole body relaxes, as if the past few minutes never happened. "Good girl."

Chapter One

anger issues

Therapy- VOILÁ

“It’s clear you have some anger issues.”

Donovan, my newest therapist acknowledged, and I rolled my eyes at his words replying with a snarky, “Congratulations Captain Obvious,” my hands waving in the air doing dramatic “jazz hands” with a look of annoyance across my face that I didn’t bother to hide.

“I know an amazing Anger Management Liscened Counselor who helps people like you get back to feeling normal. Here’s his contact information and address,” Donovan holds out a sticky note with his scrawled handwriting on it, “His home is open anytime you feel the need to let your anger out on another person, as is my office. You’re not alone in this Lolita, this is a perfectly normal condition that millions of others in the world suffer with. If you ever need anything, anything at all.” Donovan trailed off and I quickly snatch the note out of his hands.

“Yeah, sure, whatever.” I snapped out in a harsh tone, not bothering to apologize as I stood up to leave. “Have a great day! See you next we-!” Donovan calls out from behind me as I continue to storm away, slamming the shitty hardwood door behind me which cuts him off.

The waves of anger emits off of me, making my skin twinge red, boiling me from the inside out. The feeling of my shoulder knocking into a hard toned chest makes my eyes snap up to glare at the very attractive asshole in front of me.

“Watch where you’re going dumbass!” I snarl, shoulder checking him once more as I continue on, bringing my arm into his view behind me, giving him an obscene gesture as my last parting gift.

The sound of the annoying bell rings out above me, and it takes everything in me to not slam the glass door so hard it shatters. The honk of my ride catches my attention, and I quickly walk across the street, basically running to get as far away from Donovan Mitchell as I can.

I tug the car door open, plopping myself into the front passenger seat, and taking a moment to glare with narrowed eyes at the one who thought I should go here. Thirteen therapists in three months. I wasn’t that bad, sure I had a bit of a problem, but to see every therapist my mother could think of was overboard. It’s not like I’ve killed anyone. Yet.

“What the hell Mom.” I bite out, tugging my seatbelt on and snapping it into place with seething anger as I glare daggers at the one who brought me here.

“Language young lady!” She says in a singsong tone that makes me roll my eyes, “I’m twenty Mom, I can say the word hell all I want. Now, get me the hell out of here.” I say matter of factly turning to flip the bird at the stupid as fuck building I was just in moments before. I see my mother out of the corner of my eyes sigh and pinch the space between her eyes at the top of her nose, shaking her head in disappointment.

“It wouldn’t hurt you to at least try Lo, for me, for your father and I. For all of us. We just want you to get better honey.” She coaxingly tries and I turn her way, and give her a tight lipped smile, void of any emotion.

“I’m going to be late.” Is all I say in return, turning back to the window to avoid her

eyes that I know are filled with disappointment and annoyance. The sound of the car starting makes me close my eyes in silent relief.

A punch to my gut takes my breath away, “Stop!” I gasp out, doubling over in pain as I try to catch my breath, my hands holding my stomach as I wheeze in and out.

“Shit Lo. I’m so sorry!” Oli, the sixteen year old trainee that I took under my wing around two weeks ago. Oli’s wide eyes got even wider, a look of remorse and concern stuck to his face like a scar on one’s skin.

“Fucking hell kid, that’s one impressive punch!” Blade the owner of the boxing club, chuckled, his hand coming up to pat my back, the force of the pat almost making me stumble down due to his sheer size and strength.

“Hit me while I’m down why don’t you Blade.” I say a bite in my tone, annoyed already at the situation. Pain just makes me angrier than usual, but boxing is the only way for me to release the pent up tension that always attracts to me.

“Oh hush Lo, you’ll be fine. Take a turn in the ring before you go, your face is a bit flushed.” Blade remarks, before scurrying away from the short fuse I have. Pussy.

“I am really sorry Lo. My hand just slipped.” Oli continues, taking a step back when I clench my hands and raise up quickly.

“It’s fine O, don’t worry your head about it. Really, all I need is a round in the ring. Say, why don’t you go get Titus for me, at least he’ll actually try to fight me.” I mumble and watch Oli scurry off to fulfill my task, his want to please making my anger disappear a bit. Though, he’s only doing it to get a chance at competing in this month’s ring fight.

I go to my cubby pulling out my hand wrap wrapping it around my hands tightly. I open and close my hands, testing the grip out to my satisfaction. The sound of a shrill whistle echoing across the room catches my attention, making my head turn to search for Titus.

“Oi! Sweet cheeks! Get your ass over here already. I’ve got places to be and people’s asses to beat!” Titus shouts, his figure already entering the boxing ring, a cheeky grin spread across his face, his British accent catching people’s attention. I roll my eyes in annoyance and grab my water bottle before heeding his demands and hurrying on over to the ring.

“Chill asswipe, I’m not going anywhere.” I grumbled out, going through the ropes to stand inside the boxing rink, shaking out my arms before I sit my bottle down and give Titus my full attention.

“Don’t give me another bruise on my face, it’ll just piss me off more every time I see it.” I reasoned, to which Titus gave me the finger, angering me and I step forward, taking a quick jab at him which he ducks.

“Try me bitch.” Titus says playfully, his hands giving me a “come here” gesture which just pisses me off more, making me take another cheap shot, this time connecting with the side of his face. Oh fuck me, I think to myself as I see Titus’ eyes start to blaze with anger.

I wince as I prod at the now bruising area, thanks to Titus, with an ice pack, cursing like a sailor when blazing pain erupts throughout my face.

“Fuck you Titus, really fuck you.” I snarl, throwing the ice pack at his also bruised figure, his hiss of pain filling my ears as response.

“You’ll heal sweet cheeks, my nose however is very broken at the moment, so thanks for that.” He groans out as he prods at the bloody broken mess I left him with. I send him a cheeky grin as I unwrap my hands and start to pack my stuff up.

“Sounds like we’re even then.” I reply, lugging my bag over my shoulder, holding out my hand for my ice pack back, which he so great-fully returns with no qualms.

“See you tomorrow?” Titus questions, his head titled as he waits for my response.

“No, Dickivan McKillmyself wants another session with me and unfortunately my mother makes sure I go. I swear sooner or later the woman has to give up.” I grumble out, annoyed at the situation again, my anger spiking even though I just took all of it out on Titus for the past two hours.

“She just wants the best for you sweet cheeks, you know that. Besides it might help, at least stop me from being kicked in the ass every time you need to release your anger.” Titus chuckles in amusement, his eyes twinkling in laughter.

“Boohoo, I haven’t killed you have I? As far as I’m concerned that’s a plus in my books.” I joke, sending him a wave as I start to leave, “See ya asswipe!”

The first chapter is up! This is a very slow book, as the romance is a slow burn, so if that’s not your thing see your way out and thank you for giving my book a try!

Another chapter will be up soon, I’m quite busy with things right now so unfortunately the updates on my books will be slow.

What do you think of the book so far? Is there anything you’d like to see in future chapters?

Also, I am in dire need of book covers, so if you’d like to make me one feel free, the best ones will get a chapter dedicated to them as a thanks! Just send them to me on wattpad.

Much love to you little shits <3
