Chapter 1
This is the story of True Love....
It was a normal hot day in San Diego ,
I had some errands to run, the usual day to day ones, and so off I went.
Being a Professional Chef, I am always in the grocery store, sometimes I think I live in the grocery store I’m in there so much.
I cook and do party’s for a lot of celebrities, they are great and by word of mouth I get a lot of jobs.
So off to the store I went, then I had to go to the home repair store to get some things I needed to redo my kitchen, my dream kitchen, complete with new appliances, I am doing it all my self, I am so excited to get started, I get to the home repair store, got my buggy and was getting my supplies, when I was hit by a buggy in my left hip, I collapsed to the floor in pain, I can’t move the pain was so intense, I had tears in my eyes.
Then I felt someone holding me, When I could look up, the most gorgeous beautiful man I have ever saw in my life was looking at me, I couldn’t breathe, I was trying to catch my breath, without passing out, this man kept saying, “are you O.K., I didn’t mean to hit you” “I don’t know, it hurts like hell” I told him. “Just relax-it helps” he said. What is your name by the way, I would like to know the name of the beautiful man who hit me.” He laughed and said “Steve” I said “nice to meet you, I’m Elizabeth”
I said “can you help me up, were getting an audience” He helped me up and I was still in a lot of pain and dizzy so I asked him to walk me outside so I could sit down, He had a better idea. He said “Will you go to lunch with me, I would at least like to treat you to lunch” “And I think I need to take you to the hospital to get checked out too” he said. “I’m gonna take real good care of you since this was all my fault” “can you cook” I asked. He laughed, I said “well I’m a professional chef and I have a party to cater tonight.” “Uhhhhhh, I can try to help you, I can cook but I’m not a pro, but I’ll be glad to help” “I’ll show you what to do, since I can’t walk very well, you can carry the platters out for me” “Man does this hurt!!” “I’ve been there, I know how bad it hurts, and I’ll show you a trick that will help the pain.” He said. “Oh, you have been hit like this too.” He laughed and said “no, I had a bad hip till I had it replaced” “Oh my God, I hope mine doesn’t come to that!! I hate hospitals!!” I said. He laughed and said “So do I” I decided to find out what I could about this guy, he was just my type, and beautiful!!
He had beautiful black shiny hair to his waist, and had beautiful eyes, windows to the soul I have always been told, and well this man has a beautiful soul! He was just so beautiful! “So what do you do for a living if you don’t mind me asking?” “I’m a singer” he replied, I think he realized I had no clue who he was, which surprised him.
I told him “I’m sorry; I was in a real bad relationship for a long time and was lost on the latest music scene” He said “I understand that, are you single now?” “Yes, Are you” I said. “Yes” he said. “So what kind of music do you sing?” “Have you ever heard of the band Evolution?” “Yes, I love their music, I LOVE the sexy man they had as a lead singer, he was HOT, but I did hear he left, so I don’t listen to them anymore, he has an angelic voice, it always calms me.” He laughed and said well I’m him, I’m Steve Parrish.” I said “NO-WAY” He said “YES-WAY” “I guess my luck is finally changing for the better!” I said. He asked “Why do you say that?” he asked. “I just never thought I would ever get this lucky meeting you, and what’s funny, meeting you this way who would have thought that the person who possibly broke my hip was to be Steve Parrish formally of Evolution” “And even though my hip hurts like hell, I’m so glad you did!” Beth said. “What a way to meet if you wanted to ask me out you could have without breaking my hip” Beth added. He laughed and said “I’m so sorry about that, I’ll make it up to you I Promise!” We arrived at the emergency room and were taken to a room, the doctor came in and checked my hip and wanted me to get it X-rayed just to make sure it wasn’t broken.
I was in so much pain, all I could do was cry, Steve was very good in helping me,
stroking my hair, and holding my hand and asked the doc “Can’t you give her something for the pain?” The doctor replied, “I will as soon as I am done examining her, are you her husband?” No-Her boyfriend” Steve Replied. Which made me feel so good, that the pain, even though it was very intense, made me feel better.
Even though we just met and the funny way we did meet, we felt like we have known each other forever.
We have a lot in common, which amazed us, we like the same kind of music, movies, sports, just about everything.
While we were waiting for the doc to finish examining me, which was very painful I might add, I kept hyperventilating, and Steve was beside himself to help me, he told the doc, “Look, she’s in pain, DO SOMETHING!!”
Steve looked at me with tears in his eyes, “it will be O.K.” “He’s gonna give you something now” Steve said.
“Thank You .” Beth said softly.
The doc FINALLY gave me the pain meds, then gave us instructions on what to do for the next couple of weeks, it wasn’t broken, just bruised real bad. Steve insisted I stay with him so he could take care of me, I told him “O.K, but I had to go to my house to get some clothes and the party food I had to prepare, are you sure you don’t mind me staying with you and you helping me with this party?” Beth said. “No baby, I don’t mind, I’d love for you to stay with me, and we can get to know each other better.” Steve said.
He helped me in a wheelchair, and we were leaving when my cruel ex decided to start some trouble, as he was coming into the E.R.
He saw us and just had to say something, “Well who have we here?”
I flinched and Steve saw it right away, that I was terrified of him, and I was too scared to say anything to him.
Steve Said “Baby, as long as I am with you, he’ll never hurt you again, I Promise!!”
“Thank You, please get me out of here and away from him!!” Beth said.
“My Pleasure” he said. We get to the car and Steve Carefully helps me into his car, and leave. “I’m sorry for that” Beth said. “You don’t have to apologize for anything!” Steve said.
“You’re so sweet” I said. “Why does this still hurt?” I asked.
“Give the meds time to work, that’s also why they gave you a cane, so you don’t put too much pressure on it till it’s ready for it.” Steve said.
“I have had a complete hip replacement, so I know the pain your in!” Steve added.
“Yes It Does!!” “Thank You for helping me through this!” “I don’t know what I would have done.” Beth said.
He leaned over and kissed me softly, he was caressing my hair and kissing me more and more, getting me turned on more than I ever knew.
When the kisses ended, I said “WOW” breathing hard, and out of breath, I looked at Steve and smiled.
“Are you O.K?” he asked “Perrrrrrfect” I answered, he laughed.
“Let’s go home. ” he said.
“Yes-Lets” I said. “Boy this hurts, how did you do it?” Beth asked.
“I know, it wasn’t easy let me tell you.” Steve answered.
As I was trying to focus on something else till the meds kicked in, sitting there holding Steve’s hand as we went down the road, a thought came to me, not realizing that I started crying. “are you O.K.? What’s wrong?” Steve asked, looking worried.
“I’ll tell you when we get safely to your place; I don’t want to tell you while you’re driving!” Beth said. “That bad huh?” Steve asked.
“Yes- I think you will think so!” Beth replied.
We finally make it to his house, which was a relief because I was getting stiff from sitting in the same position for a while.
Steve came to get me out and help me limp to the door and we get in, he helps me to the couch and we sit down.
“Now tell me, what’s wrong” Steve asked.
“I need to figure out how to get out of doing this party tonight, without ruining my reputation.” Beth replied.
“I told you, I’ll help you, you don’t have to cancel.” Steve said.
“Yes, I do, I haven’t told you WHO this party is for!!” Beth replied.
“Why does that matter, do I know them?” Steve asked. “Yes, and very well I might add!” Beth said. Beth looked down with tears in my eyes, Steve reached up and touched her face tenderly and raised her face to his, and kissed her tenderly, and said “Don’t worry about it, I got you in this mess, I’ll help you out of it, I don’t care who it is, all I care about is you, O.K. so just relax” “You are one and a million Steve, but I know you’ll be upset when you find out!” Beth said. “The party is for Jon Carry, so I’m sure the rest of Evolution will be there too!” Beth added. “Are you sure you want to put yourself through that!” “Especially for me, whom you just met?” Beth asked. “WOW” “I haven’t seen them since the award ceremony, but I will be O.K. - I’ll have you there with me” Steve said. “Steve, I won’t let you put yourself through that!” Beth said.
“ will you relax, I’ll just have to get your mind off of this won’t I” Steve said.
“What do you have in mind?” Beth asked.
“First, how much time do you need to get ready for this party?” Steve asked.
“Well an hour, Then get dressed myself, I prepare everything early so I’m not swamped at the last minute, why?” Beth answered.
“Boy- You are good!” He said.
“I need to lie down for a while; can you help me to a bed?”
“My thoughts exactly, WE do need to lie down!”
Steve reaches under me to carry me to his bed, kissing me at the same time, it hurt my hip but I was not going to let that get in the way.
“You are a great kisser, do you know that?” Beth said.
He laughed, and said “So are you”
He lays me carefully down on the bed, and is on my side, stroking my hair, and kissing me, kissing my neck, caressing my breasts, getting me all worked up, boy, getting me hotter than I could stand! “Is it getting HOT in here to you?” Beth asked.
“Oh yes VERY HOT!!” he said.
“Good, I’m glad it’s not just me and these meds.” Beth said.
“No baby, its Stevie meds!” He said with a giggle.
“Those will work, I’ll take those forever!” Beth said
Moaning softly, he thought he hurt me, “Are you O.K. baby?” He asked.
“Ohhhh Yesssssss, baby, I’m F-i-n-e!” Beth replied. Beth wrapped both arms around his neck, pulling his body to hers.
I could feel his hardness pressing up against me, his hands moved down over her body,
His kiss was making Beth so hot! We undressed, Beth did with his help, he entered her, I felt him inside me moving slowly in and out, it made me shudder, he put his head back and moaned, “Ohhhhh you are so tight baby, Mmmmmmm” he said.
I could tell by the look he was giving me he was very close, which made me very close as well. I felt his release, it was wonderful, it made me release too.
I wrapped my legs harder around his waist, and we shook in the throws of passion.
He collapsed on top of me and we just held onto each other till we could recover.
“Man, you are amazing!” he said. “So are you!” I replied. Then he pulled out of me and then remembered my hip—“OMG, Is your hip O.K.?”
“Yes, that’s the last thing on my mind at this moment!” “But can you help me get my leg back down, I think it’s stuck!”
He laughed, “It just feels that way, the meds must be kicking in.”
“It’s about time! Must have been the overexertion!”
“Maybe, at least there working now, I hate to see you in pain, I’m so sorry I caused it!” he said. “it was an accident, I’m kind of glad it happened, I would have never met you otherwise!” I said.
“Very true, But I am still very sorry I hurt you!” he said.
“Don’t worry about it now, we have each other from now on, we’ll take care of each other!” I said. “Very true!” he said. Then we kissed tenderly.
“I have to shower, and get ready, can you help me?”
“Of course, I thought you’d never ask!” he said.
He helped me up and we went to take our shower, and get ready. I Started the water and we got in, Steve stepped in close to me and we let the water cascade down on us, his hair got longer the wetter it got, I put my hands in his hair, I Love his hair.
His lips found mine and we passionately kissed under the water.
I pulled him even closer,
He was rock hard and I put it between my legs and caressed him, he moaned in pleasure, he wasn’t inside me yet.
He moved his hands over my wet body, he found my breasts and caressed them tenderly, kissing me while he was doing this, and his kiss was making me hot, even under the cool water of the shower!
One of his hands found my spot and caressed me then went in, I groaned in pleasure, he moved it in and out gently, I was in flames of passion!
I grabbed him and massaged him with one hand, he was so hard, and he began moaning in pleasure.
I moved back against the shower wall and Steve lifted my legs and I wrapped them around his waist, he held me by wrapping his arms around my back, I could feel him slide gently in me, it made me shudder. My nipples were hard, he began sucking them, while I kissed and licked his beautiful neck. We both moaned in pleasure!
He moved slowly in and out, he was amazing, I could tell by the look he was giving me he was close to release, which made me even closer to mine.
He called out my name, as he shot everything he had in me, I called out his name as I released.
I felt his body throb, my body shook with my release as well, I wrapped tighter around him. When we could compose ourselves, he let my legs go so I could somewhat stand, my hip was killing me but I didn’t care.
I felt my body release him, He pulled me close to kiss me, I kissed him.
We stood there holding each other and kissing, then we washed each other, He let me wash his beautiful long hair, and he washed mine, we washed each other’s bodies,
When he got to my hip, he saw there was a big black bruise there, and started getting upset.
I said “it’s OK, don’t worry about it. Quit feeling so guilty.”
“I can’t help it, look at it, I’m so sorry!!” Steve said as he started to cry.
“I don’t have to look, I feel it, it still hurts. But it will get better, we keep having showers like this, you’ll keep my mind off it!” Beth replied as she pulled Steve into her arms and held him. He laughed and said “I’ll just do that every chance I get then!” Steve said.
We got out and he insisted on drying me off for me.
So I let him, then I said “My Turn!” and winked at him.
He smiled. “Now the fun part, the party, I am not looking forward to this, why don’t we stay here!” I said.
He said, “I can’t let you do that, I’ll be OK.”
“Are you sure?” I asked.
“Yes, Beth, I’ll be fine.”
“On one condition- You have to promise me the minute your uncomfortable and are ready to go, we will!!” Beth said. “I Promise!” “I’ll be fine, don’t worry, it’s YOU I am worried about!” Steve said with a kiss. “I have done a lot of his parties, we all have become friends, I’ll just explain that I had an accident and my boyfriend came along to help me. And that I can’t stand or walk too much. He’ll understand.” Beth said.
“The look on his face when he see’s WHO your boyfriend is, will be priceless!” Steve said. “I’ll bet!!” Beth said.
“Now come help me get this stuff made so we can get this over with!” Beth added.
“Can I say one thing first?” Steve asked. “Sure, What?” Beth asked.
“I know we haven’t known each other long, but I am falling in love with you, and very fast I might add!” Steve said with a kiss.
“I feel the very same way Steve!” Beth said with a kiss.
Steve came into the kitchen to find Beth in tears, and she looked like she was chopping something. But was chopping really fast. He was amazed at how fast she was going.
He rushed to her side, “Are you OK, and are you in that much pain?” he asked while he rubbed her back. “Yes, But these onions always make me cry too.” I answered. “How long have you been a chef, I have never seen anyone chop that fast?” Steve asked.
“About 22 years. Speed comes from many years of doing it.” I answered.
“Remind me to get you to do all the chopping; if I went that fast, we’d have my fingers in the dinner!” Steve said. I laughed and said “OK, I’ll remember that.”
“Here, lean on this, it will take the pressure off your hip.” Steve said as he brought Beth a stool. Beth had to get the other stuff to prepare as Steve did everything he could to help her. “Are we ready?” After he loaded the car, he helped Beth to the car.
He reached over her to buckle the seatbelt, and then kissed her tenderly. Then went and got in the car and drove off, “I guess I don’t need to tell you the address huh?” Beth asked. “No, I remember where he lives, even though it’s been a while since I was at his house.” Steve replied. “Are you sure you are OK with this Steve?” Beth asked.
“Yes, just relax.” Steve replied. The rest of the drive was quiet; I just tried to relax, holding Steve’s hand as we got closer.
Finally we arrive at Jon’s house; Steve helps me out of the car and up to the door, and gives me my cane so I can walk some on my own, so he could get the stuff out of the car.
Jon comes to the door, “Beth, how are you, OMG, what happened to you?”
“I was in a slight accident, I bruised my hip really bad, so I hope you don’t mind that I brought my boyfriend to help me, cuz I can’t stand or walk that much” I replied.
“No, we don’t mind, are you going to be OK?” Jon asked.
“Yeah, eventually, Jon I need to tell you, you know my boyfriend.” I replied.
“I do” Jon said. Just as I was about to tell him, Steve walks up,
“OMG, STEVE, How have you been, I didn’t know you were seeing Him Beth.”
Jon said. “Hi Jon.” Steve said. “Yes, it’s kind of funny how that came to be Jon, see, he did this to me on accident.” I replied.
“You’re kidding, how?” Jon asked.
“Well it’s a long story Jon” I answered.
“Here sit down Beth, Tell me all about it,” Jon replied.
“I will, but I need to help Steve get the stuff out of the car” I replied.
“No, you sit right there, I will help him, I’ll be right back, If you need anything just yell.”
Jon replied. “Ok, I will, Thank You Jon.” I replied
Jon went out to help Steve get the rest of the stuff out of the car.
Steve looked at Jon and said “Jon, I hope you really don’t mind me being here and helping Beth.”
“Don’t be silly Steve; I don’t mind at all, I’m glad you finally have someone special
In your life, and I will always count you as a good friend, you both are always welcome here!” “Beth is the best, I will never change chefs, and we have become great friends out of the deal, Beth is a very special woman.” Jon said.
“Yes she is, very special; I am falling very hard for her.” Steve replied.
“I can tell she is you too Steve, I can see it, the way she looks at you.” Jon replied.
They got everything inside and heard Beth yelling. They both rushed to see what happened. “Beth, what’s wrong?” Steve asked holding her.
“Something is wrong, I can’t feel my foot, and the pain is terrible.” Beth replied, almost hyperventilating.
“Calm down” Steve replied, stroking her hair. Steve asked Jon to get him a bag of ice. “Are you sure you can finish out the evening, we can go home if you need too.”
Steve asked. “Yes, I think I can with your help, I do need to take my medicine though, can you get me some water?” Beth asked. “I’ll get Jon to get you one; I’m not leaving your side!” Steve replied.
“Thank you.” I replied.
“Leave it to Dr. Parrish, to take care of his special lady!” Steve sang to Beth.
“As I live & Breathe, I would know that voice anywhere!” Someone said from the doorway to the room that Steve & Beth were.
“Hi Neal, how ya been?” Steve said.
“Fine, Hi Steve, Beth. What happened to you Beth?” Neal asked as he saw Steve holding a bag of ice to Beth’s hip.
“You know Neal too Beth?” Steve asked.
“Yes, I know all of them Steve, I do all their parties.” Beth replied.
“It’s a long story Neal, I had an accident so Steve is helping me do this party, I couldn’t let you guys down!” Beth replied.
“Did you ever get rid of Gregg, who was hurting you all the time?” Neal asked.
“Yes, so far I have managed to hide from him, please let’s not go there Neal, I’m not up to talking about it, Can you do me a favor Neal?” Beth replied.
“Sure, what?” Neal said. “Can you ask Jon for a glass of water for me, I need to take my pain medicine.” Beth asked.
“Sure, no problem.” Neal said, and then went to get it. Steve sat there holding the bag of ice on Beth’s hip; he had to ask her, “Beth, you will have to fill me in on this Gregg, What did he do to you?” Steve said. “He almost killed me, they only know about it because I had to work a “Evolution” party,
And I had to come all bruised up, I couldn’t afford not to do the party, so I had to do it, all messed up, it was real bad, I had a concussion, a black eye, 2 cracked ribs, the doctor said I was lucky to have survived it, it’s not a pretty memory, and he tried to finish me off here, the guys had him arrested and helped me have a piece bond put on him, he broke that today when he got that close to me, but I didn’t want to push the issue and give him reason to come after me again, or you for that matter.” Beth replied.
“I’m so sorry honey for brining it up, but I had to know, so he’s not allowed to be near you?” Steve asked. “No, not within two thousand feet of me.” Beth replied.
“I knew something was up the way you flinched and looked at him today; as long as I am with you he will never hurt you again!” Steve said as he held Beth and kissed her.
“I know, I feel so safe with you.” Beth replied. “Where is my water, this hurts so bad.” Beth asked, tears streaming down her face. “NEAL, Where is her water?” Steve yelled.
“Right here man, chill out.” Neal said as he came in the room.
“Sorry Neal, she’s in pain, I can’t stand to see her in pain.” Steve replied.
“You sound like you love her Steve, is she your special lady now?” Neal asked.
“Yes, she is Neal.” Steve replied, while handing the water to Beth. “Drink it slow.” Steve said to Beth. Steve’s phone rang and he answered it as he still held Beth. “Hello” Steve said. “Mr. Parrish, This is Doctor Weiss, I treated Elizabeth for her hip, we need you to bring her back ASAP, there was a mix-up in the X-rays, her injury may be worse than we thought, we need to X-ray her again to be sure. How is she doing by the way?” “OMG, you have got to be kidding, she’s terrible, the pain is so intense she can’t bear it, we’ll be right there.” Steve replied and hung up the phone. “Neal, will you go get Jon for me?” Steve asked. “Sure, man no problem!” Neal replied as he ran to go get Jon.
Beth was crying in pain as she looked at Steve and asked in a labored voice, “What’s wrong?” “We have to take you back and get X-Rayed, the x-rays got mixed-up so you’re hip maybe worse than they thought, oh I’m so sorry!” Steve Replied as he held her tighter in his arms. “What’s up man?” Jon asked when he came in.
“We have to go back to the hospital, so she can get re-x-rayed, they got the x-rays mixed up, so she maybe more injured than we thought, We’re sorry, but we have to go now, the food is already fixed all you have to do is set it out.”
Steve replied. “No problem, take care of her man, please call and keep us posted as to what you find out.” Jon replied.
“I will, and thanks! Can you open my car door for me, I’m carrying her, I’m not gonna let her walk on it till we know for sure, besides I don’t think she can right now anyway.” Steve replied. Steve carried Beth to his car and put her in, and buckled the seatbelt, then kissed her and said “Don’t worry baby, everything will be ok.” And they drove off. Beth was panting her hip hurt so bad, she started to cry which made Steve cry, he hated to see her in pain, he reached over and held her hand and raised it up to his lips and kissed it and continued to hold it. “Please try to calm down and relax baby, I’m here I’ll help you through this.” Steve said with tears in his eyes. Beth pulled his hand up that was holding hers and kissed it and held it on her stomach and lay back and cried. Steve kept looking over checking on his lady, he was so worried about her, he was already falling in love with Beth, falling really hard, and he hated to see her in so much pain, and he remembers how much it hurts, which made it worse. They pull up to the hospital, and Steve parks and gets out, he goes to Beth’s side and helps her out, Beth insisting on walking in herself. “You are wearing yourself out baby, trying to carry me.” Beth said.
Steve could see she’s just as stubborn as he is and laughed.
He could see she was in intense pain, trying to walk and almost collapsed; he scooped her up and said “I’m carrying you in, no arguing, you can’t walk at the moment, let me carry you!” “Ok, your right, it hurts too much to put any pressure on it, so I guess you’ll have to carry me.” Beth replied.
In the parking lot, they are being followed in, by Gregg trying not to be seen.
They get in and are met by Dr. Weiss, he looked at her hip while she was still in Steve’s arms, trying not to cause any more discomfort than she was already in, he could see she was in tremendous pain and ordered a shot for pain to be given in her hip.
Steve held her while the shot was given, and she screamed and started crying more than she was, she wrapped herself around Steve and cried onto his shoulder.
“Don’t worry Elizabeth , this one is fast acting, you should be feeling it about now.” Dr. Weiss said. “Wow” It’s easing up a little.” Beth said once she got her breath back and calmed down a little.
Steve kept holding her and stroking her back and hair, trying to calm her.
“Does it feel a little better baby?” Steve asked.
“Yes, a little actually. Dr. Do you have that in pill form?” Beth asked.
“Yes, I will make sure you have a prescription before you go, but be careful with it, they can be addicting, only take them when you’re hurting like you just were.” Dr. Weiss replied. “I understand, thanks Dr.” Beth replied.
“Now to that x-ray, and I’m very sorry for the mix-up.” Dr. Weiss said.
Steve carried Beth to the room and laid her down and stepped out with the Doctor,
As he took the x-rays, then when he was done he showed Steve what room to take Beth too, and he sat in the chair and held Beth in his lap. Gregg decided to go in and start his trouble. Steve looked up and asked “I think you’re in the wrong room.”
“No, I’m not, I’m here for HER!” Gregg replied.
Beth heard his voice and tightened up her whole body and started to shake in Steve’s arms, Steve knew from that, who he was.
“I think you need to leave.” Steve replied.
’Not till I have that!” Gregg replied pointing to Beth.
Beth composed herself long enough to say something to Gregg, “Leave me in peace; you are NOT even supposed to be near me, now LEAVE!!”
Dr. Weiss came in then and heard Beth’s response to Gregg and left to get security and have him thrown out. Gregg grabbed at Beth, and managed to get a hand full of her long hair and threw her on the floor, just then security came in and arrested him and took him away. Steve jumped up and ran to Beth and said, “OMG, Are you O.K.?” “I am now that he’s gone, thank God, I didn’t land on my left side.” Beth replied.
Steve picked her up and sat back in the chair with Beth in his lap, still shaking so bad it was making it look like he was shaking, he was holding her and rocking to calm her down. Dr Weiss came back in and Beth told him thank you for getting security, and that if he hadn’t when he did, her hip wouldn’t have been all he would have to treat.
“How long have you had problems with this man?” The Dr. asked.
“Ten years, and he won’t stop till he kills me, I’m terrified of him!” Beth replied.
“No one will ever hurt you again as long as I’m around!” Steve said.

“By the way, do I need to x-ray you again, since he threw you on the floor?”
Dr. Weiss asked. “No, I’ve learned how to land when he throws me, I knew what he was going to do when he grabbed my hair, so I knew how to land, he’s done it so much, I can’t even count the walls I have bounced off of, I’m just thankful I didn’t have to land on my hurt hip!” Beth replied. Steve was just sitting there holding Beth rocking her and in awe listening to them talk.
“How can someone be that cruel?” Steve asked.

“How’s my hip, please, I want to go home, and forget this ever happened, I had enough problems with the nightmares!” Beth said.

Beth, with Steve’s help, stood up slowly and Steve got up and they followed the Dr. out of the room, got her prescription and left and went, and got it filled and went home.

Steve looked at Beth and pulled her in his arms and said “Wait till I get you back home, I can’t wait to feel you again!” and kissed her hard and deep, when the kiss was over they were both out of breath. Beth said, “I can’t wait to feel you again either, filling me with all your love!” “Oh yes, baby! Oh YES!!” Steve replied. They were kissing when Jon came back in from the kitchen, *cough—cough* “sorry guys” Jon said. “That’s ok, hey how did you get in, oh wait, you probably know Steve’s house better than I do!” Beth said. They all laughed, and then Steve said, “Yeah, he’s been here a lot over the years, but I do need to show you around once your hip is better!” “Did you close and lock both doors Jon?” Steve asked. “Done” Jon replied handing Beth her keys back. They all got in Steve’s car and took Jon home. “Thanks a lot Jon” Steve said. “You’re both very welcome, you guys need anything, just ask!” Jon said. “Thanks we will!” Steve replied, and then drove off. Steve looked over at Beth who was laying her head back in the seat with her eyes closed; he reached up and brushed some of her hair back, then took her hand in his and kissed it and continued to hold it as he drove. He loved her so much already; he decided he wanted to marry him, if she would, so he decided to ask her when he got her home. He kissed her hand again as he was thinking and Beth opened her eyes and smiled and kissed his hand back and said “I love you so much baby!” Steve then smiled and said “I love you too baby, are you ok?” “Yeah my hip is hurting but I’m ok” Beth replied. “How would you like to go away for a few days, I have a place in the mountains, we can be alone.” Steve asked. “That would be wonderful, I’d go anywhere with you!” Beth replied. “Great, we’ll leave first thing in the morning, I need to make a stop first, do you mind if I take you back to Jon’s for a little while?” Steve said. “No, I don’t mind baby.” Beth replied. Steve took Beth back to Jon’s and told him, “Can she stay here for a little while, I am going to surprise her tonight and ask her to marry me, but I need to go get an engagement ring, and I can’t leave her alone.” Steve asked Jon. “Congrats, it’s about time you got hitched man! Sure, she can stay here as long as you need her too!” Jon said. “Thanks man, I owe you one!” Steve said. Steve then went and got Beth out of the car and carried her to his couch and gently sat her down and kissed her, and said, “I won’t be long baby, I promise!” “Ok honey, please be careful, I’m gonna sit here and worry till your in my arms again!” Beth said then kissed him. Steve left and went to get her an engagement ring and just as he promised he wasn’t gone long. Steve got Beth and went back to his house and got her inside and took her to the couch and sat down beside her and got on one knee and said, “I love you so much baby, I don’t know how I lived so long without you, will you marry me?” and opened the little black ring box and showed her a beautiful diamond engagement ring. Beth started to cry and said “OMG! Baby, it’s beautiful, YES I’ll marry you!” Steve put the ring on her finger and Beth pulled him up and on top of her and kissed him passionately. They moaned, kissing and caressing each other, Steve got up and went to pick Beth up and she stopped him, and said “Babe, your gonna ware yourself out, it hurts like hell to walk on it but you don’t need to carry me all the time!” “I’m gonna carry my future Mrs. Steve Parrish to bed, now hush!” Steve said as he smiled. He picked her up and carried her to the bed and gently laid her down. Then his phone rang, Steve answered it, “Hello” “Hello, Steve, this is Dr. Weiss I need to speak to Beth, is she close?” “Yes, hold on” Steve said as he handed her the phone, she looked at him with a scared look on her face, Steve said “its ok baby, it’s the doctor; he wants to talk to you.” “ Hello Dr Weiss how are you?” Beth said. “I’m ok, how are you doing with your hip?” He said. “It’s slowly getting better what’s up?” Beth asked. What he said next made Steve worry, as he saw the color leave Beth’s face and she started to shake and said “Thanks Doctor, I have to go now!” and hung up, dropped the phone and barely made it to the bathroom as she got sick. Steve was up in a flash and grabbed her and held her and said “OMG Baby, what’s wrong, what did he just say to make you sick, you Ok now?” Beth just stood there a second looking at Steve, then said “I need to sit down before I fall down!” Steve walked her back and helped her sit down and asked again “What’s the matter honey?” “We have to leave tonight, Gregg broke out, and he’s been at the hospital looking for me, OMG!!” Beth replied starting to panic really badly. “It’s ok baby, your safe here, your car is in the garage, he doesn’t know where I live, or he wouldn’t have went to the hospital looking for you, he would have come here. We’ll leave now ok!” Steve said as he held her tight, trying to stop her from trembling. They left and went to his cabin and stayed there, while they were there they got married. Beth’s hip finally healed somewhat, it still gave her trouble a little. They thought they were done with Gregg, they were wrong. They were back at Steve’s house it had been a year and they had hoped he had moved on.
Beth was getting ready to go to Dr. Weiss’s office as he was the only Dr they trusted.
Beth had been getting sick again so they wanted to get Beth checked out.
They were going in today to get the results. The receptionist called her name “Mrs. Parrish will you follow me?” Beth & Steve followed her. She took them to his office and Steve helped Beth sit down, she was still really stiff and it was hard for her to stand up or sit down without his help. Dr. Weiss came in and shook Steve’s hand then they sat down and Steve took Beth’s hand in his and held it.
“I have good news and bad news, which do you want first?” The Dr.. asked.
“Uh, The good news first doc.” Beth replied as she squeezed Steve’s hand. He squeezed hers back then put his arm around her.
“I was wrong Beth, after all that man did to you, I didn’t think you could have children, but you are, Congratulations your gonna have a baby! You’re pregnant.” Dr. Weiss said.
Beth sat there stunned then looked at Steve and smiled then asked the Doctor, “How far along am I?” “About 5 months, I was wondering why you had gained some weight, you still need to gain some, but you are normally small, but your ok though.” He answered. “Now, what’s the bad news I’m afraid to ask?” Beth said. “Your ex is getting released tomorrow, I thought you would like to know, I’m so sorry to have to tell you I had hoped he would have been locked up for life with all the witnesses you had, but I guess he behaved himself in there, he’s getting out on good behavior.” He replied. Steve could feel his wife start to shake in his arms and said “Doctor, thank you for letting us know, my wife and I want to thank you for all you have done for us, we have a new piece bond in place now, I don’t think he’ll try anything now.” “Don’t kid yourself Steve, I’m sorry Beth but he has to know, He has had a year to stew over this, he knows you married her, he told me a long time ago, to my face, he would see her dead before he would let her marry anyone and be happy, he also knows she’s pregnant, I don’t know how he found out, but he knows.” Beth started to cry and get really upset and Steve took her in his arms and said “its ok baby, I won’t let him near you! He will never hurt you again!” The doctor said “Please try to clam down Beth, it’s not good for your baby either.” Beth tried to calm down some and stood up, then had to sit back down because of the dizzy spell she had. “You ok baby?” Steve asked. “Yes, just got dizzy for a second.” Beth replied. Steve rubbed her back to try to calm her down some and the doctor said “I want her to take it easy Steve, try to keep her from getting so upset. It’s not doing her or the baby any good.” “I know it’s gonna be hard Beth with him out there, but you have to take it easy ok!” “I’ll try Doctor” Beth replied. “I’ll make sure she’s taken real good care of, she has Dr. Parrish here! Who loves her very much!” Steve said smiling and holding her close to him. Steve & Beth left and Steve was helping her into the car and rubbed her stomach and kissed her gently and said “I love you both baby, I won’t let anything happen to either of you! Please believe me, try not to get so upset you heard the doctor, you have to take it easy ok? And I my love, am gonna make sure you do!” Steve said as he winked at her then kissed her. Then he got in on his side and drove off. He looked over at Beth as she was resting in her seat and was holding his hand, and asked him “Baby, take me to Jon’s, I need to tell him our great news, and let him know about Gregg, since he helped me and us, he’ll be on his list too, I have to warn him! I love you baby!” “Sure, I was thinking the same thing, and I love you too” Steve replied. They got to Jon’s and Steve helped her out, and she had to stand still for a second, as she got dizzy again. Then went up to his door and knocked. Jon answered hugging Beth and shaking Steve’s hand, pulling them in the house. He asked “How are you guys, everything ok?” “We need to tell you something Jon, but I need to get Beth to sit down.” Steve replied. “Uh, oh, now your worrying me, what’s up!?” Jon replied. Beth slowly sat down with Steve’s help, and he sat beside her with his arm around her. “Ok, guys spill it, your worrying me bad now! Are you ok Beth, what happened, has Steve attacked you again with a shopping cart?” Jon asked as he laughed. “Ha, Ha, very funny Jon!” Steve replied. “We have something to tell you Jon.” Beth started as Neal came in the room. “Oh Hi Steve, Beth Do you need to be alone?” Neal asked. “No, your ok Neal, you need to hear this too, First, I can have children, the doctor was wrong, and Steve and I are having a baby!” Beth said. Jon & Neal both said at the same time “That’s great you too! Congrats! How far along are you?” 5 Months, that’s what my pooch is.” Beth said as she laid back and pulled her shirt tighter and showed them and rubbed it, as Steve did the same. They both knelt down and hugged her and patted Steve on the back and congratulated them again and both of them said again at the same time “we’re so happy for you guys! You have been through to much, it’s about time!” Beth laughed and said “You, all 3 of you are such in synch with each other, it’s just amazing! But there’s something else you both need to know! My ex is getting out tomorrow so please be careful, since you helped me and “Us” you will be on his list. I couldn’t handle it if something happened to any of you!” Beth said starting to cry. Steve said “Take it easy baby, please!” holding her tighter as he rubbed her stomach gently and told the guys “The doctor said she has to take it real easy and not to get so upset, it’s not good for her or the baby.” “You’re in the best of hands Beth! NONE of us will let anything happen to you or your baby!” They said. Beth took a deep sigh and said “I know, but you guys don’t know him like I do, He will not Stop till I’m dead and your all dead! And he also knows Steve and I are married and that we’re having a baby too!” “Oh God, that just added fuel to the fire now!” Neal said. “Please don’t upset her more than she already is Neal” Steve said. “I’m sorry man, I don’t mean too, but you don’t know this guy, she’s not kidding, I saw the look in his eyes as he tried to cut her throat!” Neal said. Beth started shacking, and stood up, swayed a second cuz she got dizzy, and then ran for the bathroom. Steve ran after her and came in just as she finished getting sick the looked at Steve with tears running down her face and then fainted. Steve caught her just in time and carried her to the couch, and said “Thanks Neal!” Jon got Steve a cold wash cloth and Neal said “I’m sorry man, but if we’re gonna stop him and put him away the rest of his life so you guys can live in peace, and be safe, you need to be prepared!” “I would never hurt Beth on purpose, you know that!” Neal said. “I know, I’m just worried about her, the doctor said she was not to get to upset, and she did and fainted on me, Jon can you make this colder, I need to try to bring her around.” Steve Said. Jon brought back the washcloth and Steve rubbed her face with it while she lay in his arms, Beth came around and jerked, “What happened baby?” she asked Steve. “You fainted after you got sick baby, are you feeling ok?” Steve replied. “Yes, at the moment.” Beth replied. She stayed in his arms for a while then had to get up to use the bathroom, Steve said “I’m helping you up baby, you might get dizzy again.” Steve replied. Steve helped her up and she did get a little dizzy, she went to the bathroom and came back and went to sit back down beside Steve and Steve stopped her and stood up wrapping his arms around her from behind and smoothing her shirt to look at her stomach as it was showing a lot more, and said to the guys “Isn’t this the most beautiful pregnant woman you have ever seen in your life!?” “I’m getting hungry!” Beth said and the guys all laughed. “Let’s go eat, I would cook for you, cuz I know you all love my cooking but I don’t feel up to it right now.” Beth said. “They all said at the same time, you can cook for us after the baby is born, we will go out to eat.” Beth stood there in awe of them, Steve got worried and said “What’s wrong baby, you feel ok?” “Yes, just hungry, but I just don’t understand how 3 guys can be that in tune with each other, never loose that guys!!” “I guess it comes from many years on the road together. Let’s go get my babies something to eat.” Steve said still holding Beth with his hand on her stomach rubbing gently. They all got into Steve’s car and went to there favorite restaurant by the water and sat down outside so Beth could enjoy the ocean.
