Summary

Magic users are classified into three groups. The heroes, the Villains, and the Hunters. You know what a hero and villain is, but Hunters should be new. A Hunter is an illegal hero that is supported by the public, not the government. That is what Alec is. Under a hood of course. Her story through school can only be told by one person. If she is willing to tell it, that is. What person am I talking about, you may ask? You will just have to stick around to find out. Also, not everything is as it seems. Even the seemingly simplest things can change the story. But what changes will be made to finish what was started? Thank you so much for reading this book. I am planning on rewriting most of it. I started this book in middle school and my writing ability has grown, I will still keep this one up while I write, though I will take this one down and replace it after I finish the new version.

Prologue

“Villain.”

“Traitor.”

“Fake.”

“Liar.”

“Killer.”

“Monster.”

“We have all been called these names. It is our job to travel from world to world. We have to fake our lives.”

“We focus so much on unfinished books, unfinished worlds, that we don’t seem to look at the finished ones.”

“If we did, we would have known that one wasn’t finished just yet.”

“The book re-opened. We have to live in this world once again.”

“It will be different. We have a new phase of the story to enter.”

“We finished part of the story before, but now, it is time to finish the story. It is time that this story comes to its true end.”

With them all in agreement, the girl put her hand on the book. They glowed gold and disappeared. The book closed to the cover. THE DARK PHOENIX CHRONICLES. It flipped open, passing the three chronicles that they had completed when they first went in. The book stopped on a page that was writing itself. The title was CHRONICLE IV, DARKEST SHADOWS.
