Mafia action at its finest!

At first, I was not crazy about the book, I realized that it was going to be a dark romance and having been married to an Italian whose father and mother were involved with the mafia, I did understand a little more of what was going on. I understood some of the Italian that was included in the dialog but it has been years and like any other language it is use it or lose it. I really think the author captured the lifestyle of the Italians and their moods along with some of the action that took place. They (mafia connected) are not forgiving types of characters and they are difficult to love. Sometimes you are sure that you hate them but are not able to let go. I do feel that this book has a lot of potential and the rough spots are just that. The storyline could be developed more and I do think that it could be a series. What are you going to like? Some people are either going to love or hate this book but I do suggest that you give it a chance. There was a point that I was going to give up but felt that a few more pages were worth the read. I am glad that I did. Warning: There is a lot of super sexy scenes that are explicit. The twists, turns, back stabbing, mysteries, murders, sex, dark characters, loveable characters and a did not see that coming ending will have you involved till the last page. The characters are unusual and will having you either rooting for them or just down right hating them. The descriptions are detailed and colorful. The action is explosive with even more detailed descriptions. I would like to read more from this author as I feel that she has a lot to offer. I received this as an ARC copy for an honest review with no other compensation."

The plot is interesting, I had never really read anything like it before. Personally, I got attached to a lot of the characters and certain relationships. If you're into romance, fighting and wild scenes with guns I recommend."
