I just finished reading your story “The Crowned She” and I loved it so much. Your writing is amazing, and I kept thinking how cool it would look as a comic based on the rich historical fantasy setting.
I really loved Chapter 1 (Persons) when Princess Kleopatra Sultan introduces us to palace life under King Horus and Queen Hatsheput her internal diary voice is so vivid and expressive, it sets the tone perfectly for visual storytelling, with ornate costumes and political tension simmering beneath the surface. And the moment when she’s presented with the choice marry the lieutenant commander or remain confined to the palace forever feels full of dramatic potential. Imagine a two‑page spread contrasting Kleopatra’s regal posture with the weight of that ultimatum, the room bathed in royal golds and shadows.
I’m a commissioned artist, and I’d love to draw your story into a comic/manga. No pressure though, I just think your work would look awesome in comic form.
