Chapter 1
Why I fear dolls
I was at my babysitter’s house. I'm around the age of five or so. The babysitter has two childrens, one boy and one girl. There’s other children at the house too. It’s all girls except for the babysitter’s son. I always liked to play outside, climb trees and jump on the treampling. I asked if I could go outside. The babysitter said yes but we all had to go outside. We all agreed to go outside except for the daughter. The babysitter said “You’re the only one who doesn’t want to go outside, and everyone wants to go so you need to go. After a while we came in from playing outside, we all cooled off. Then the Babysitter’s daughter wanted to watch tv so we all went to the living room. She put on Annabelle at first. I didn't know what it was so I agreed to watch it. The babysitter’s daughter didn’t think it was scary but the rest of us did. We calmed down later. But once I got home I told my grandma about it. She tried to comfort me, and once I had to go to bed I couldn’t help but remember about the movie. I put the covers over my head because when I do that I feel like I have a shield on me to protect me. Then the next day my grandma went to drop me off,but she said she wanted to talk to the babysitter and for me to go and play with the other kids. She talked to her and she was upset about it but of course the child never got in trouble for it.
But that’s one of my biggest fears. I’m still afraid of dolls just not as much.
